@Indianaftw I was never a huge Smiths fan. Nothing against them, I just never got into them personally. You know, limited time, and all that. But I was still surprised to learn that Rourke kept playing/recording with Morrissey even after they broke up.
Got me listening to the Smiths again...Dude could play bass like one of the best. We were discussing all the good english bands from the eighties. Smiths were right there.
Morrissey though and his lyrics and the way he delivered them. That dude had some one liners that crack me up. "Scratch my name on your arm with a fountain pen, this means you really love me". Hahaha

Johnny Marr, Rourke and Joyce kicked butt. Those guys had some killer riffs.
