Looking at Rivals listing of the top 15 in-state kids, IU signed the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th rated players in the state. IU still has a shot at signing the number 1 player, David Bell.
As much grief as we've given Allen for being outmaneuvered by Jeff Brohm, we need to show Allen some love for his recruiting prowess. The man has a chance of actually signing 5 out of the top 6 in-state kids, and that's coming off the heels of two disappointing 5-7 seasons.
Man, I hope TA can get over that hump and go bowling because his recruiting could blow up if he can sell a bowl program. I think this proves that Indiana kids really do want to come here and build a winner. It's a more attractive destination than the bitter rival, Purdue.
