    Davis and Schifino

If you are afraid of injuries then you should never play at all. They happen anytime, anywhere and to almost every player. But almost every player does recover since trainers and modern medicine do wonders. So just admit that Schifino moved for the money. I totally get it and am not blaming...

    Davis and Schifino

It is interesting to note that Jackson Davis stayed at IU for four years, polished his skills and improved as a player. He is now playing significant minutes for Golden State and even started yesterday. His dunk the other day was unbelievable over Wembanyama. Yes, big bucks will follow him down...

    Swept by

I believe Mike Davis missed only one game and the reasons for that are understandable. His five year record was pretty much the same as Knights last five years. Look it up.

    Please use some hindsight folks.

I have defended him forever. Hand picked by Knight. Great defensive player and coach. (SEC defensive player of the year)Got us to within 9 minutes of winning it all. Had the same record over his five years that Knight had over his last five. Recruited quality kids like Dr. Marshall Strickland...

    Please use some hindsight folks.

I was trying to be tactful here, but yes, you may be correct. Perhaps I should have said when Davis was driven out.

    Please use some hindsight folks.

I have said for years that the two greatest mistakes in IU sports annals was firing Bill Mallory and then firing Mike Davis. Watching these teams over the last 30 some years just solidifies my views. The ADs have run out of excuses for their bumbling, their stumbling and their ineptitude.

How many IU fans that you know personally

Less you forget, Mike Davis took us within nine minutes of winning the entire thing and at that time the fan base was still tremendous. It was injuries to guys like DJ White and others that started the downturn. Mike was blamed by many for this but sometimes injuries mess you up. His five year...

    Joe Lunardi

Not that Lunardi is the world's leading authority on who will make the big dance, but he is as good at this as anyone else. It is interesting to note that he does not have the Hoosiers in the tournament at this point. In fact, they are not even listed in the first four teams out. Yes, there is a...

Where are all the people that said IUs guards were good enough and 3 pt shooting would be fine

I agree that all of our competition, other than UConn is subpar. What was very impressive today was how well Auburn 's guards shot the ball and how few turnovers. 3, they had. I wonder if anyone ever has scored over 100 points with 3 or less turnovers before.? But a bigger part of me also...

Going to need someone who can bring a team with them

Did you mean to say 20 to 30 years rather than 2 to 3. Face the reality. This is really bad.

    Horrible recruiting

I won't disagree but he did not stay the course. Who, other than TJD, stayed the course for three or four years and improved?

    Horrible recruiting

He didn't stay the course. That was a big part of my post. I want to see them stay, develop, improve and win. Give me three star kids. How much is Kentucky winning with all their fives?

    Horrible recruiting

Unreliable, injury plagued and a ball hog. Did we win anything at all with this supposed 5 star superstar who ran away after one average year?

    Horrible recruiting

Yes, I thought Trace Jackson Davis lived up to his hype although he couldn't shoot from the outside. But I was just thinking about all the hype that IU, Peegs, the Indy Star, and South Bend Tribune gave to all of these guys who were coming in and would be super stars. But I can't think of any...

    What really pisses me off....

Schnell, from Elkhart, was also a very long time ago. I guess my point remains that IU has had only a very small handful of home grown kids play quarterback for our Hoosiers since the 1950s when I began to pay attention. So when Jackson became available, we jumped on him. I get that but Sorsby...

    What really pisses me off....

Yes to Griese and Phipps but that is now almost 60 years ago. I don't think we are missing anyone else. So why is Indiana high school football void of good qbs?

    What really pisses me off....

If the truth is told, Allen probably favored Jackson since the kid was a Tennessee recruit. I get that but I view that as Tennessee 's mistake. I just don't think that Indiana High School football has produced very many Division I qbs over the last 50 years or not many who did well at IU...

    The NFL is rigged

So sir, why the profanity? Why can't we have a respectful back and forth like civilized people? I agree that Watson made a lot of mistakes but he settled all of them legally. Should we now double his sentence by prohibiting him from being employed? I can separate the man's character from his job...
