Illinois is probably better, but then so was Wisconsin. Purdue being better is quite arguable.

IU did win four in a row in both 2019 and 2020, and before that it was the great 1993 team of Bill Mallory. So including the covid years, it has happened 3 three times in thirty years. But, yet, if it happens a fourth time this year, some people want to see Allen gone.....

If IU win four Bog Ten games in a row, regardless of the opponents, that is a major accomplishment and one that should be recognized by all fans of IU football. I'm too lazy to do the research, but my gut tells me it has been a very long time since that has happened.

Who the hell is Charlie Becker?

Not sure about you, but your question is definitely idiotic...look him up - it isn't difficult.

    Totally unacceptable…

Didn't have to read or hear it - I saw it with my own eyes. And, it's just my opinion which, of course, does not have to be substantiated.

    Totally unacceptable…

Worst mistake was starting Penix against Iowa before he was mentally ready. Took a blow to his confidence from which he could never recover. No players drafted in any single year is not a big deal. Have to look at a longer period of time before anything is relevant.

CTA a Strategic Genius against Sparty??

Was applying no pressure on the MSU QB, failing on pass blocking by the IU offensive line, and perhaps the worst tackling of any IU team in recent memory, all factor into Allen's brilliant strategy?

Please tell me why I should be optimistic?

Whatever anyone says - nobody knows. Support the team, assume good things, and let the season play out. That is all you can realistically do.

What are your W/L expectations for next year?

When is the last time these three things have happened?

What are your W/L expectations for next year?

Not going to venture a guess especially after this's years debacle. Way too many unknowns when it comes to having a serviceable QB, an effective OL, the ability to run the ball successfully, injuries, etc. But the stretch goals for the season should be (1) play in a bowl game (2) win a bowl...

New OC needs to flip Brady Allen

Time will tell if Allen can buck the trend of highly rated QB's from Indiana failing to produce in college. Look at the results for Stevens, Johnson, Peters, Adian Smith, and even McCulley. When is the last time a high school QB from the state of Indiana has set the world on fire?

    Refreshed Offensive Coordinator target List

Seems to me Heard's recruiting taller but slower receivers is not paying off. There is a significant need for speedier wide receivers. It doesn't matter how short you are if you can get separation.

    If Tuttle succeeds?

Tuttle is the QB going forward. He is vary capable of beating all of the teams remaining on IU's schedule.
