Motherboard question

So I am going to be using the 5900x but wanted help to pick out of these two or if anyone else has any recommendations I’d be more than happy for the help.
The two I came across
msi board
X570 Aorus Pro and the ROG Strix b550-e
The x570 to be fair from what I’ve seen I wouldn’t mind probably either though I don’t need Wi-Fi. The pro seems to have more connections for USB. But I wouldn’t really know about how different the vrm would be for the 5900x
Thanks

The Great Replacement Theory

Is there a difference between:

Theory 1: a conspiracy theory that some secret cabal of Jewish people and Illuminati types are trying to "replace" white-skinned people with Muslims or Latinos

and

Theory 2: a theory that in the U.S., (a) demographics are and have been shifting towards an ever increasing % of Latinos via immigration and birth rates, (b) Latinos have historically voted about 2-1 in favor of Democrats, (c) that Democrats, in general, have more liberal immigration and path-to-citizenship policies, (d) human beings and political parties are motivated by a desire for more power, CONCLUSION: at least one reason for (c) is that Democrats want more power--that it will benefit their party more.

Regarding Theory 2, factual premises (a)-(c),I think, have been pretty mainstream thought for over two decades. Premise (d) doesn't seem like much of a stretch, does it?

Is wrapping up Theory 2 with Theory 1 just a cynical ploy to convince people that believing Conclusion 2 is not only wrong, but actually racist (i.e. it's so wrong don't even listen to the argument because it's verboten)?

I'm really curious about this. I don't buy that there is a cabal of people trying to "replace" white people. But I think quite a few people in the world--including me--would like to see a blending of all peoples together so that we don't have these distinctions anymore in however many hundreds of years it takes (and which is where we are headed anyway). Am I a replacer? If I believe Theory 2, does that make me a racist or a believer in a conspiracy theory?

Finally, it is bizarre to me that the Great Replacement Theory would be a motivating reason for anti-black hatred and this shooting.(No doubt the Buffalo shooter suffers from some mental illness as nearly all these people do.) Black people are increasing as a % of the population, but not at nearly the same rate as Latinos or Asians and the growth is due to bi-racial growth (which I see as beneficial)--the % of people labeled as "black only" is actually decreasing.

The great MAGA king

This seems to be the PR line of the week from the Biden admin. A MAGA over here a MAGA over there, MAGA everywhere. All the R’s in congress are MAGA’s. MAGA people are dangerous. Even Psaki is getting in on some MAGA with a grin.

What do the Coolerites think about this tact? Is the belief that the only person more unpopular than Biden is Trump? Scare those suburban moms away from the midterms if you say MAGA enough times?

It strikes me as exceedingly dumb and transparent. Whoever is doing this Admins PR needs to be shit canned.

The end of divisions

In some respects, the end of divisions in CFB could be very very good for IU, but as a college football fan in general, I hate it, given how huge the leagues have gotten in the past 20+ years.

The problem with it, to me, is the opponents that teams will play every year. Now I'm 100% in favor of protected rivalries, but I also recognize that if Indiana plays Purdue, Illinois and MSU every year, but then Michigan is saddled with Ohio State, Penn State and...???

I think we'll have even less of a true champion of each conference than we already do with this method. And I haven't heard specifically, but I believe there would still be a conference championship game, right? Just decided by whatever method the conference choose to use? Top two. Top two rated. Whatever.

Illinois St.@IU: IU 12 ISU 7. Seven-run 8th wins the game...

Here we are at the last home game of the season and RHP Luke Hayden will be on the mound for IU with an ERA of 5.70 in 23.2 IP, while LHP Ryan Weaver will make just his second appearance in a game this season for the Redbirds and has an ERA of 6.75 in 1.1 IP.

In the T1st, Hayden gets the first two batters on a ground out and a K. but gives up a two-out single. A force out at 2nd ends the inning for the Redbirds.

In IU's 1st, Whalen leads off and grounds out. Jessee then strikes out for two outs. Glasser reaches on a throwing error by the SS, but Mathison strikes out to end the inning.

Reggae...

On a serious Reggae jag at the moment. Started with a couple "Best of" and top 100 Reggae song play lists on Spotify and building from there. I'm enjoying hearing stuff other than Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, UB40, Peter Tosh, etc... Curious if you have recommendations for songs or bands to check out. Think Bowl for Two (The Expendables) and some of the crossover rap/reggae songs are favorites I've discovered. Whatcha got?

IU vs Cinci game 2021

Given all the Cinci players who got drafted, was doing a project and rewatching the game.
IU was dominating them on D, up 7-0, Anderson sack, McFadden picks up fumble. IU on the six. IU scores and goes up 14-0.

But don’t forget we had already gone for a 4th & 1 on 13 and Penix got stuffed. Then Penix also threw a TD in the end zone.

Hoping the new OC can finish better than Sheridan, as IU could have been up 28-0 in first and probably would have deflated Cinci.

I do hope next year’s Cinci team will be less stout given they least 8 starters to the NFL, including top QB, RB, WR, DT and 2 CB’s!

Flipping channels caught the Lionel Ritchie, Gershwin Prize for popular music

The library of congress presents it or its recorded there in some fashion. I never really cared for Lionel Ritchie or his type of music, but the show caught my interest as other artist performed his hits, and I was kind of shocked at how prolific his career was as far as writing hits that after a couple of notes you recognize the song.

the other think that struck me is that older white people in suits shouldn't attempt to dance in public. the best seats in front where mostly filled with 70 somethings, dignitaries I suppose and their spouses, the various artist who performed Ritchie's hits would invariably ask the crowd to stand up and sing along, the geezers felt compelled to get up at the point and would do little turns with their bodies and pump their arms like they were attempting to ski uphill.

Is November Getting Bigger? Another Dem Denies The Science of Biology

So the economy and wanting transexualism taught in 3rd grade was gonna kill the Democrats in the mid-terms..

The rumored overturning of Roe maybe got them some bites back, although most folks who were pro-abortion were already in their camp.

This week, the Dems doubled down on the idiocy of denying biology, and had a dumbass testify that men can get pregnant and have abortions because everyone can "identify for themselves."

Aimee Arrambide, the executive director of Avow Texas, was asked by Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., to define what "a woman is," to which she responded, "I believe that everyone can identify for themselves." When asked "Do you believe that men can become pregnant and have abortions?", Arrambide replied. "yes."

A bunch of Ph.D.'s may want to sit around in an ivory tower and discuss the nuances of sexual "identification," but Bubba won't.

Bubba used to vote straight ticket Democrat, having believed the big lie that the Dems were "for the working man."
But as they woke up and saw that was BS, and that the Dems felt they were Deplorable, the Dems lost Bubba.
So Bubba elected Trump.
And Bubba is gonna un-elect a BUNCH of Democrats in November.

Preview of the Iowa series...

There's been a shake-up of the starting rotation with Braydon Tucker on the mound for Thursday, and Perkins starting the Friday game with the usual TBA for game three on Saturday. There is absolutely no mention of Bradley Brehmer in the preview article, so I don't know if this was a coach's decision or maybe he has some kind of injury. Brehmer pitched the first two innings of the 2nd game with the Gophers last Saturday before it was suspended to Sunday with Bothwell finishing the game. Here's some team comparisons:

Hitting: IU - 5th, .283 avg., Iowa - 8th, .275 avg.
Pitching: IU - 12th with a team ERA of 6.88 and OBA of .267, Iowa - 1st with a team ERA of 3.46 and OBA of .203
Fielding: IU - 7th with a fielding pct of 0.973 and 49 errors (52 games), Iowa - 5th with a fielding pct of .0973 and 46 errors (47 games)

Note: I thought IU was pretty much a lock to finish last in pitching in the conference, but they have lowered their team ERA down enough to pass up 13th place Michigan in that category going into the regular season-ending series.

Weather forecast looks good with all three games being night affairs. Thursday and Friday night are expected to be dry and warm, while a front will be moving through on Saturday with rain expected during the day, but clearing up at night with the temps expected to be a high of 60 that day and a low of 45.

Saturday's game will be on national TV on ESPNU at 9 p.m. (ET).

There’s a long standing thread over on the AOTF. We’ve been playing for about 6 years now. This weeks tournament is our anniversary event. It’s a $5 buy in with top 3 spots cashing. If we start getting more players that will probably change to top 5 cash. We usually double the entry fee for the major tournaments.

Ty Bothwell is the B1G Pitcher of the Week...
