Economic hellscape -- I wish everyone would read this

Hoot, of course people should be able to make decisions based on their own conscience, but killing humans isn’t one of them. Abortion is dumb, immoral, and should be outlawed in any decent civilization.
Like for any reason? Rape, incest, life of the mother?

Also what consequences do you propose for the men? Jail time for not providing for said baby? Forced vasectomy?

Florida is the third most populous state in the country and will have their results on election night. Any state SoS who tells you they can't do the same should be removed.
No, any SoS who is given the authority to count the mail-in votes as they come in can certainly do it.

My mail-in vote, in Florida, sent in last Wednesday, was just counted.

If I lived in Pennsylvania, as I understand it, my vote could not be counted until after the polls closed on election day. Which is stupid, and allows Trump's false allegations of "massive dumps" of votes to sway the stupid.

Some Thoughts On Our Whosiers

Tayven went 7/8 for 91 yards and 2 TD's. He should've been 8/8 for like 140 and 3 TD's if our 1st drop of the year hadn't happened. He will do great on Saturday. I worry about him having to start @ Sparty a little, but he can ease those fears with a big game this weekend. I predict he's over 200 yards passing and we score 40+ on UW.

Why do democrats fight against Voter ID?
I think most are for voter ID, but there has to be a system that would issue voter IDs to all citizens, regardless of whether they have a driver's license, regardless of whether they are homeless, etc.

It sounds simple to say that you have to show a driver's license, or two utility bills addressed to you, or a passport, or a social security card. But some US citizens would be excluded by that. Do you think the homeless guy on the park bench has any of that? If he can otherwise prove that he is a citizen, shouldn't he be allowed to vote?

Some states have tried to issue voter ID laws without thinking it through. I think it was one of the Dakotas that passed a law that you have to have a permanent street address to vote. It was thrown out, not just because of the homeless situation, but because every single Native American living on any reservation was prevented from legally voting. By law they have a PO box assigned to the reservation and none have a street address.

The way it works in Florida is I have to show ID to get on the voter roll for the first time. Then after that, I merely need to know my address, the last 4 digits of my social security number, and maybe answer questions that I set up at the first registration, such as first childhood pet's name, mother's maiden name, etc. I have to sign, but I don't know how closely they go off of that. Signatures even of the same person are notoriously variable over time and a non-expert could make a ton of mistakes.

Lmao. I would run you into the ground. There’s not a chance in hell you have a higher iq. You have a tunnel vision mind. As I said. What’s more you lack the intelligence to understand humor etc. to recognize you’re emotional - all the signs of being of limited frequency you demonstrate. I’m sure you were a solid automaton

You've got him IQ-wise, but that's not saying a hell of a lot..............

Hoosier Hysteria Clips...

I watched it again... Just a scrimmage, need to remind myself of that... But man, that sure looked to be the same offense we've ran 80% of the time since Woody arrived. If that continues once the real games start, and we continue to be mediocre offensively...well, I'll either need to take a break from posting here...or more likely, I'll be very active puking out negative thoughts on Woody and his stubbornness.

It doesn't take long to implement a new offense...it isn't all that "hard"...and the evidence is now overwhelming that what he's been teaching at IU 1)doesn't lead to efficient offenses 2)Alienates most elite level perimeter recruits.

But, backing up...it was just a scrimmage. There were some positive elements, for sure. IU can be "solid", just like we were TJD's senior year, running this style. We just won't be consistently efficient enough to be elite.
^^^this, just 12 minutes but they ran what they will run during the season. Still looks like no shooting and no movement away from the ball.

Rourke Out

The best possible outcome from this injury is that Tayven keeps us winning until Rourke is back, and then is able to build on that for next season. If he is good enough that the coaches don't feel they have to buy another QB in the portal this offseason, then this could be looked back on as a good thing. It also shows Cherry that your time will come if you stay patient and keep improving daily. Coach Cig hit a grand slam with Rourke, but that will get more expensive and be hard to keep repeating. If Tayven and Cherry can man the QB spot for the next 4 years, our NIL $$ will be able to get spread further. That's my glass half full take on Rourke's injury. I think we win Staurday with Tayven, but I worry about going to play Sparty without Rourke. Make me a believer Tayven!

Big Nebraska Fan

Yeah, that makes sense, especially because if OSU takes a second loss in conference, it gives us cushion in the standings.

Also, I checked up on this yesterday...if Northwestern loses 7 or 8 more games, they pass us on the losingest football team list. That would be nice. I think the earliest they can catch us is next year.
I looked into this as well. Can you post your source because I looked it up as well, but maybe it wasn't up to date.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/

This site shows Northwestern with 699 losses and IU with 690. Also UTEP has a much worse winning percentage than us.
