Especially the ones fromNope not a fan of playing into the hayseed caricature. Doubt the students would love that either.

6-1 the final for soccer. Todd has these guys in a roll.I am great. Kamala and Tampon Tim are on the run. Wonder why they pulled millions in ads from NC? I guess they feel they’ve got the state won?
I am going to have a Diet Mt Dew, Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich and watch Hoosiers clinch B10 Soccer Title. 3-0 lead at halftime! 😎
Do you think this game is tougher than Michigan game? If so due to matchups and/or because it’s on the road?
Do you think this game is tougher than Michigan game? If so due to matchups and/or because it’s on the road? All I know about M$U is that they lit up Iowa's D for 40 points and they just ran inside successfully against MI who's supposed to have one of the top D lines in college football...
If you add an inside running game with a QB (Chiles) that can run and throw (which they have) then you have your hands full when it comes to defending their Offense.. They have a solid RB (Carter), a decent TE (Velling) and a dangerous freshman WR (Marsh)... Throw in an Offensive Line that can clearly run block and we've got problems...
Fortunately the M$U Defense doesn't look as formidable as their Offense... They don't swarm the ball and they'll be missing their starting ILB for the first Half... The backup (ILB) is from Old Dominion so at least one of our players and several of our coaches are familiar with his tendencies...
Their starting Long Snapper (who appeared to have had either a knee or ankle injury versus MI) played for James Madison last season (boy did he chose poorly)... If he plays against us his injury might give us some enhanced return possibilities on punts... If the starter doesn't play his backup might provide some kick block possiblities...
Historically, the Spartans have at least one, or sometimes even two, prepaid Big Ten Ref(s) leaning their way when we play them, so watch for the no calls when it comes to their OL Holding and their DB's committing Pass Interference..., while the same type of calls Are made against us...
I expect our toughest game of the year up there. Let's hope we can keep our Win streak going...
To be fair, and as Trump has demonstrated, most politicians are stiffs. It's weird--you'd think in politics of all places you'd need to be charismatic, but few of them are.
Yeah, I think you've made your opinion on the subject abundantly clear.
I'd quibble about "useless degrees", but I doubt there is much interest in that conversation.
I drove through Arlington Park about 15 years ago and it looked 'old'. What I remembered as a fairly new addition looked like it had aged quite a bit. Used to be nothing between there and town, but it's filled in now with houses and businesses.Arlington Park is off Stellhorn, but is further east on the other side of Maplecrest Rd. This took place near Stellhorn and Reed Rd. Not terribly far away, but surely a notch or two down from Arlington Park. Though I haven't been through Arlington Park in 30 years so I guess I don't really know.
Party of unity and joy!Of course she wasn’t treated well by those racist Kamala supporters.
Same here. IU needed to win to be bowl eligible. It had gotten dark and a little foggy, so the stadium was like a luminous bowl. Wife and I had tickets to the opera and we had to leave with a few minutes left and IU leading by a touchdown. We got just outside the gates when we heard a moan from the stadium. We looked at each other and ran back in. Purdue had scored to tie the game, 24-24. Hoosiers had two minutes to get within field goal range. Finally had to kick a 49-yarder...and it sailed through. That was the peak IU football experience for me, too. That 2007 PU game is one I will never forget. I was at that game and the emotions felt by IU football fans across the stadium after that made field goal were indescribable. After the field goal was made everyone was hugging each other and high fiving in my area. Complete strangers. Even with how wonderful this season has been I don’t think you can ever duplicate that moment and I wouldn’t want to. With Terry Hoeppners death that summer prior and all that was being played for that season in his memory that was THE ultimate moment in IU football history IMO. I can still remember that moment like it was yesterday.
Maybe not as much as the Trump camp after MSG rally. How fitting would it be if it turns out the PR disparagement ends up costing Trump the election?
But it's all relative, isn't it? The race-baiting and SXism was always built in, but who could have predicted Trump would have held a rally to roll it out to America through what they thought was comic relief right before the election? It won't matter to 90% of the electorate, but it very well could do him in where it counts.
I wouldn't call Vivek a politician. Vance is one, but a newbie.I may be a partisan shill these days but I find guys like Vivek and Vance kind of captivating. And Trump is entertaining in his own right. Although I think less so since 2016.

Unity & Joy!Obama: bitter clingers
Hillary: deplorables
Harris: fascists
Biden: Garbage
When the veil drops and you see what these people actually think of Republican voters, it makes it really, really hard to claim that moral high ground Democrats so feel they deserve.
To be fair, and as Trump has demonstrated, most politicians are stiffs. It's weird--you'd think in politics of all places you'd need to be charismatic, but few of them are.People were also not happy with the tenures of Obama or Biden. Obama has some personal popularity but presided over massive state level, house and senate losses.
Republicans never ran someone with a pulse that could beat him. Just stiffs.
That helps Trump in a “change” election.
