GAME THREAD: IU 15 @ OSU 38. FINAL.

Stock Down - - Rourke
Stock Up - - Howard

Man, across the board, I can't believe how much our passing game --QB, receivers, O-Line, and probably staff-- all tanked today.

This proves the fools gold that comes with playing a weak schedule. Other than backing out of Louisville, SOS is not IU's fault, but it is still true that we beat no one of consequence.

Well it was nice while it lasted.

Have to get better in the trenches. That’s what separates the good from the great teams.
Yes, and I bet Cig goes after a duel threat QB in the portal. Teams like Michigan and OSU knew the best way to stop Rourke and the IU offense was put enormous pressure on Rourke, since he’s strictly a drop back QB. If IU had a Antwaan Randle El type QB today it’d be a different game. All season long I thought that could be our undoing on offense, by having an immobile QB.

The Big 10 stinks

So take the punt return and call it back because of a couple illegal blocks and that possibly changes the score. Then call the holds on the final long run and that does change the score. Get rid of the screwed up punt that he seems to have taken his eyes off the ball and that could change the score. Not saying we could have won but it would have been a lot closer game.

Hoosiers

Brian Maisonneuve. Played at iu. Great dude
A few ex Hoosiers are kicking butt in Ohio- wasn’t Kent State also coached by a Hoosier? Maybe hegemony wasn’t the best plan. No titles in a bit
Texas hasn't beaten anyone, either.

This is the bad part of large conferences. Conference schedules are so unbalanced, you end up having to choose between a bunch of teams that have lots of wins, but no accomplishments.
Texas has at Aggy next Friday- win that then rematch Georgia or Alabama- Longhorns will have to earn their berth. IU just blew our own berth. No shame give Cig a chance to recruit some athletes Michigan and Ohio State had talent and it showed
