Well we know Iowa isn’t sniffing the playoffs either.IU isn’t making the playoffs. Top 5 teams in big 10 outside of IU are Oregon, Penn St, Ohio St, Iowa, and Illinois. IU played one —only one—of them this year and got dominated.
He is ft wayne kid so I hate seeing Indiana kids do well for other big ten schools. Nothing against Goode but he is a poor man version of Miller Kopp plus he is gone after this year which Conner has 2 years left plus he could of started here over Carlyle.Wait, you whining and complaining? Color me shocked! Shocked I tell you!
Assume he wanted the chance to start. Both are good players and folks dumping on a kid who chose IU and wants to wear the Cream and Crimson are the losers. From everything I hear Luke is a great locker room and team guy. Shooting is mental and the basket's just small for him right now. Big deal, it happens. No coming back and praising him when he inevitably breaks out and hits 4-5 3s, which you know is coming. Keep shooting Luke. I'm sure
Connor will be happy to have you cheering him on as a Husker. I know several here will too!
You crazy! There will be a real regression next year.
There will be a real regression next year.Or next year.
So Ohio State looks like a team that could win the whole thing. Have to give them credit, sometimes when things go south the other team has something to do with it. Even without the self-inflicted wounds I think the bucknuts win this game.
I get the disappointment. I'm disappointed. It's always hard when opportunities slip away because it's never a guaranteed that you'll get another opportunity. Plus it's annoying because all the sports drones will have their 'Indiana is overrated, they haven't beaten anybody' answer queued up.
But I think we need to have some perspective here. This is one of the best 2 or 3 teams in Indiana history. They will have at least 11 wins. Even if they get snubbed by the CFB Playoff they'll still be in a very good Bowl and have a chance to win their first Bowl Game since 1991. And they have built a good foundation upon which they can build. The idea that the loss today means it's the same old Indiana after all is pretty silly.
Hardly a moral victory either.Gotta score here. Beat by 17 w/ 14 pts on special teams is hardly a tragedy.
And your point is ?When a guy comes in first year with a thrown together transfer roster and is the clear cut 4th best team, well that’s means everyone basically stinks. The entire mid-tier needs to step it up and Michigan and USC need not suck.
