Epic comeback flashback

Remembered a game last night that was long ago forgotten in the archives of my declining memory. Living as a freshman in Briscoe during the '89-'90 season we had a huge comeback in the Hall against a heavily favored UM team... I believe we were down around 18 or so at some point. Unfortunately I didn't have tix to that game but remember watching on the giant 13" picture tube TV with 12-13 other dorm mates and screaming uncontrollably... probably all while illegally drowning ourselves in Busch Lite or Old Milwaukee.... Oh those days on the 11th floor of Briscoe!

Unsure of this team

It's entirely possible that I'm wrong and we are not actually talent deprived. I still think I'm right and we really don't have any disciplined or experienced talent that wins games, but if you look down the roster you see a lot of should have been by now, could be dangerous types, that probably nobody wants to play right now. Point being, we could be dangerous if things are clicking. I'm a half cup empty guy and this thing still needs a major purge and rebuild, but I started to think of some things I noticed today. Back door cuts and jab steps are almost like a drop kick, we should start doing them. If they could perfect a backdoor for Trayce with Race as the decoy/option .... dangerous, problem is if it goes back out, they'll throw it in the stands as the do. They should try some of this against ILL. I'm not happy with this year, but I'm starting to think we could be dangerous with nothing to lose but losing

Something interesting from this game

This isn’t a unique thought… but when Race wasn’t on the floor and Jordan was at the 4… the floor and paint opened up for X to drive the lane, dump off to TJD or get him a pass in the lane.

love race, I do… but when teams can’t clog the lane, it changes how this team performs.

credit woody for sticking with it, credit race for being a great teammate, credit Jordan for delivering in that moment

I AM EATING CROW...AND ITS DELICIOUS!!!

I don't know that it changes the fundamental issues...but man, so cool how they dug down and found a way in this game.

Never would have dreamed it with how they looked against Michigan for their first 70 minutes or so this year.

Whatever happened, whatever was said, bottle that and hold on to it for as long as they can!!!

Duncomb...Not at the game?

My son went to the game and texted me that Trey was warming up and looked fine (talked about MW maybe playing some games with MI based upon his earlier comments). Then texts me saying he doesn't see Duncomb anywhere. Later see on Twitter from one of the beat writers that LD isn't there. Then after the game I see LD tweet something about a great win.

I would think if he's not on the bench, that's a pretty clear sign he might be on his way out, considering his prior issues. Then he's hyping up the win. Anyone else notice he wasn't there or heard anything?
