Did anyone else see the news that facebook and Instagram are having users auto-follow Trump and Vance?

Seems weird to me. Maybe the shareholders urged him to make this move, as well as go on Joe Rogan and other Project 2025 stuff.

I also heard Tik Tok removed a bunch of anti-Trump stuff. Probably just a server error when Tik Tok went down for a few hours. Nothing to see here.

What are your thoughts on these events? I know many of you have had strong opinions about social media over the past few years.

And the price of eggs has gone up. My Whole Foods was mostly out of stock yesterday. Next will be the price of blueberries and other fruit.

Hit the grocery store last night. Actually seemed a bit cheaper. Items I’m tracking for the board were unchanged.

As for media musk’s takeover of Twitter and joe Rogan evened the playing field from the lefty legacy media. I guess we’re just going to be the Wild West. Opposite of the old fairness doctrine. I’m obviously for let all speech in with no filter but if one side is going to put their thumb on the scale I’m thankful for Rogan and Musk. I wish it wasn’t this way

White House accounts retain their followers when they are handed over to a new administration. Ergo, if you were following the Harris or Biden White House account, you are now following Trump/ Vance
