And it's difficult to use. I'm only married to it until the end of the NFL season. What do you guys use as your primary streaming service? I want one that has local TV if I can, because my home gets very bad antenna reception. Alternatively, advice for a really good digital antenna would be acceptable.

What are better options than YouTube Tv?

Pay the extra $10 bucks a month. YouTube tv is the best service overall.

I have no idea. I had to pick a service last year and I only required local channels. I picked YouTube because I wanted to get Sunday Ticket for once in my life.
We have YouTube and haven’t had any complaints. I’ll probably stick with it unless I find a better option for the 3 things I watch. I canceled Peacock but will re-up in the summer. Along with YouTube Tv, I have been able to watch what I want

I mean, if that's the answer, that's the answer. I'm open to it.
Dude it’s a fcking mess. I know more than anyone on this board. This is the shit I know. And it’s a moving target. The latest provider to get nuked is fubo. They’ve lost everything. YouTube tv is a fine choice. But for me. Now? Probably direct tv stream. That’ll get you your tlc and sister wives as well as your bravo menu and local and sports. But what really separates stream is you’ll get history. That’s your pawn stars your pickers your …. that built america.

I had Directtv for years. They pissed me off one too many times

We use Hulu and love it, except for the lag. I notice the chats we are almost full play behind everyone else.

But it has good channel selections, a good library, and some original content like Only Murders.

YouTube TV does not have the MLBbNetwork and it fvcking pisses me off. They have 3 or 4 Spanish stations and a bunch of cartoon channels and I can’t fvcking get the MLB Network.

Jesus, goat. At least put some effort into it. This is just way to obvious.

As for YTTV, we jettisoned them when they raised their price from 49.99. What are they raining it to now?

$82.99 as of next month. Up $10.

Such is life if you want to watch sports. That's where all the demand is and what is driving the costs.

I don't find it difficult to use at all. Actually think it's by far the best of all of them. Easy to use when traveling or at the lake house. Or on phone/computer when needed.

Price wise... nothing that actually has all the stuff I want is still any cheaper. And even if it is, its temporary. I don't think YTTV was even profitable at the prices they were charging.

It's all the carrier fees, no platform can get around it. I'd be happy with a sports only platform, but with how media ownership and distribution rights are so segmented, it's getting worse, not better.

I had extra innings thru Directtv for probably 20 years. Once the nerds took over the game….I quit watching.

I have YouTubeTV and very satisfied with it!

The biggest complaint that I have with YouTube is that if you're away from your home area and happen to think about a ballgame that will be televised in your home area you can't record it. That may be true of all streaming services but with my old service provider (Metronet) I could log on and schedule it to record.

If you happen to have T-Mobile as your cell phone carrier they give that away for free every year ... at least for the last several years.

Verizon

So the people who were running DirecTV have now been hired to ruin YouTubeTV?
They’re drug dealers. Going from Coke to heroin to meth as each one is stymied a bit by the authorities. And yet they all seem to prosper. Haven’t seen any declare bankruptcy.
