Are we finally seeing the end of the Bennett/Ryan dynasty at Wisconsin?

Last year's recruiting was a failure, and last night's implosion in the clutch at home v. Minnesota probably means Gard's seat is starting to warm up.

So......I think Gard's there through next year at least. Does he survive after that? If not, does Wisconsin find another coach in the Bennett/Ryan tradition or do a 180?

Yes, no, IDK and I don't care!

check back in 1-2 yrs after Happ is gone. But looks like their program peaked and definitely trending downwards. FIne with me, they've been a pain in the ass for IU for the past 15 yrs.
Likely Wisky has peaked under Bo and is on the way down.

Every time Buckyville goes down is a good day. Can't wait till Happ is gone so the BTOs can concentrate on someone else to practice their "Protect the Happ" calls. Eventually their recruits will have to unlearn their "Bo Reaction" to every call (mouths open, arms outstretched, horror on their faces).

Once Happ is gone they have almost nothing.

It's the difference between a traditional power and a flash in the pan program. Sure it's 15 yrs of flash in the pan. But if they don't get a great hire and start winning big again then they prove who they really are. I have always felt that Indiana is one of those programs where if the administration doesn't screw up getting the wrong guy then IU will be fine. The school and fan base sell the school. What's not to like as a basketball player if you are talking about IU? Now if there is too much garbage going on with the program and the administration doesn't know what it is doing then players will decide to go to another school.

Wisky loves their football.
Packers are a huge influence in that state.

Happ is only a Jr..

IU needs to beat Wisconsin for once before these kind of posts. They have owned us for 20 years. They have high expectations for all their sports. They won’t let b-ball just wither and die. Won’t happen.
