Knew about these games, but never looked them as a whole, and wow....

A bunch of big power matchups with Mich @Utah and TCU @Minn (both on Thursday), Wisc v Bama, BYU @Neb, and Stanford @NW on Saturday, and OSU @VT on Monday

Then there are some intriguing games were some small schools will likely be competitive if not favorites. Illinois St @Iowa, Richmond @Maryland, Purdue @Marshall.

Then you have some solid small in-state schools with a chip on their shoulder that are hosting games. They are likely over-matched but decent enough to give their opponent a scare into the 2nd or 3rd quarter with MSU @WMU and PSU @Temple.

Should be one hell of weekend.

In the first 6 games mentioned, it appears BT teams will be underdogs in 3 (UW, Minny and UM). A big ten win in any of these 3, would bode well for the league on a nat'l perspective.

OSU at VT and Neb hosting BYU are must wins for the league's national rep. NU hosting Stanford is a good opportunity for the 'Cats to gain some respect for themselves and the league.

I fear both contests for Iowa hosting ILL St and PU at Marshall. I look for Tre and Coach Spack to keep things close in this one with Iowa winning a nail biter. Marshall will be jacked up for a big ten team coming to their place. I look forward to watching this game.

IU needs to win their first 4 games. If not, will likely be another without a bowl game.

Western Michigan returns several O line starters and 9 of 11 offensive starters overall. MSU is going to be really good, but WMU is a quality team. Just be glad Indiana doesn't have to play them.

I think Western's been outrecruiting a lot of "power 4" teams recently. They have some talent.

Fleck has done very well as a recruiter, and their one year turnaround was impressive. I don't think they will beat MSU, but it's a good thing IU doesn't have to play them.

Didn't you already say that about IU in your last post? I think we get it, but go ahead and say it again in case some of us didn't understand you.

Not sure why you would make a post like this. Really strange to attack another poster like this. The point was that WMU is a pretty good team. Sorry if you didn't understand that.

Indiana already scheduled the better of the two "Western" teams when we scheduled Western Kentucky. We've got all we can handle there.....but you chose to ignore that.
