We have a verdict -- Guilty on ALL counts

That's the biggest indicator he's innocent.

He could have easily hidden $130k in other miscellaneous accounts. You may not like him, but he's not stupid.
It is bizarre to read this illogical claim that the fact Trump could have used a sneakier method of hiding payments with false documents proves that he acted honestly. Did this post turn out the way you intended?

However, I've heard no Trump supporters defend him by addressing the most central question in the trial: What was Trump's motive to falsify documents in the first place?

The prosecution claimed Trump's motive was to influence the election. The defense obviously failed to disprove this argument. The Trump supporters on this board don't even claim Trump had some other motive. Once the defense conceded/failed to rebut Trump's intent to influence the election, the prosecution's job was at least half completed.

Makes Trump look guilty, doesn't it?

You mean when hur overstepped?

Guess biden is lucky to be running against a felon

Oh yeah, I forgot about the porn star, who was only called in to provide irrelevant details about the sex act itself. Yeah, she was real convincing.....

Pecker said the 'catch and kill' actions were common and done all the time. There was certainly no damage to Trump in his testimony.

This was a done deal before the trial ever started, and particularly when the judge gave instructions to the jury to select from a smorgasbord of crimes that they didn't even have to all agree to.

It wouldn't have mattered either way if Trump took the stand.
The defense seemed to spend far too much time arguing with and trying to disprove Cohen and Daniels when they should have been trying to prove (1) the documents were not false, and (2) Trump was not trying to influence the election.

Even if everything they've accused Trump of is true there's still no crime. 4 days later and no one can point to a crime he committed.

Sorry but picking "legal expenses" from the drop down in Quick books for a reimbursement to your lawyer is correct. "Payment to silence whore" is not an option. Even still, that's a misdemeanor and the SOL have long since run. It's not a campaign expense either and state prosecutors can't charge a federal crime anyways. What crime did he commit?

Your pathetic whining about this is something to behold. The jury found him guilty of specific crimes. He’s a convicted felon. Move on with your life.

Love it! That sound delish. Never had flying swine rub. And the freeze...hmmm interesting. I'm definitely going to give that a shot. I haven't had meatloaf in awhile, but a smoked version sounds really good!
Take two blocks of frozen cream cheese and set it on smoker at 225 degrees. Let it sit on aluminum foil. Before you put it on the grill dust it with a touch of olive oil, then liberally apply seasoning. I have done the flying swine regular and sweet and spicy. The sweet and spicy is the favored version by friends and family. In any event, it smokes for 2 plus hours or so, then ready to serve hot. Two boxes of Triscuits are must haves.

95 percent of people have no idea what he was convicted of. It’s a convoluted mess of misdemeanors dubiously tied to other crimes in order to raise them to felonies in which they argued his INTENT was to commit election interference. Or something along those lines.

I think the more people find out about this, the more obvious it becomes how unbelievably ridiculous it is.

Left-leaning TIPP poll shows 2 point bounce for Trump post-conviction.

The majority of Americans think the jury got it right. We’re running a convicted felon for President. That’s a national embarrassment.

The crime has been repeated over and over. Quit acting ignorant

Then you need thicker skin. Open borders, Soros DAs, bail projects, gender reassignments for minors, defunding police, endless race-baiting, forgiving student loans, blocking evictions for deadbeats, EVs shoved down our throats, DEI, CRT, on and on are a national embarrassment. A cadaver who can barely fumble through teleprompters and is mentally unfit to prosecute is a national embarrassment.

Anyone who had their opinion of trump change is a fool. Whatever trump is accused of doing he did. Duh. That’s him. We knew that in 2015.

So there’s a choice. I’ll take the cheat with fewer ideas over the woke cadaver with really stupid ideas and get back to crab boils

You'd think someone who claims to be a lawyer would be able to figure it out. I'll grant you it's a bit convoluted, but even my IANAL ass understands the charges.

You say the case was weak and shouldn’t have been brought but you also now say he’s a national embarrassment because he was convicted 😂
Yes, I don't think the case should have been brought, but I didn't say the case was weak. I also think he was guilty and the jury found him guilty. I've said both of these things. He was a national embarrassment before and now that he's a convicted felon, he's even more of a national embarrassment.

My skin is probably thicker than most.

Trump was unfit for President in 2016 and he's unfit now. Everyone knows that this is my opinion and it hasn't changed.

You should hold yourself to a high standard than the rubes on MSN, or CNN who can only think in terms of “nobody is above the law” and “the jury got it right”. This conviction is a national embarrassment, but to know that takes more thought than a brief sound bite.

Over the years you have stated a number of valid thoughtful Trump criticisms. Many I agree with. This post isn’t one of those, not even close.

I won’t take the time to dig into the myriad of errors with this prosecution, (all obviously motivated by disabling Trump hate) but the information is easily found from reputable legal scholars if you wanna find it.

Trump is more unfit than any person ever to run for President. You know I'm not changing my opinion. ;)
That’s a joke. Biden can’t be prosecuted because his memory limitations are so so severe. He fumbles through a teleprompter and has to have his interactions scripted. He thinks inflation was 9 percent when he took office. That’s a man incapable of making decisions.

Unfit.

You know I formed my opinion on Trump before he ever ran for President, right? He's a huckster. He's not sincere in anything. I will never vote for the guy.

You're saying Biden is unfit because he's incapable. The problem with Trump is that he's grossly unfit even if capable.

I should have said Trump and his attorneys should have been more knowledgeable about the New York State laws governing certain business transactions.

Trump's style of politics isn't my cup of tea, but it obviously has appeal to enough Americans to again be elected as president.

Businessmen and lawyers can be smart while at the same time not being knowledgeable in all aspects of law and business.

Trump is a lousy speaker too. Despite the fact he has followers, he's not a leader. His leadership skills are nonexistent. Trump is unfit for the office of President.
So the person is all that matters to you. Not policies and the impact of same on 350 million people
I don't agree that we won't recover from Biden policies and I think Trump is personally unfit for the office. My opinion on that won't change. It's a waste of time to try to change it.

You post it a hundred times a day I’ll reply. The number one issue to Americans today is inflation. Biden thinks it was 9 percent when he took office. That’s how ate up his brain is. That’s more than a lousy speaker. Biden is unfit for the office of president
