We have a verdict -- Guilty on ALL counts

More revisionist history from Trump. His own DOJ sent Michael Cohen to prison, in part for his participation in an illegal conspiuracy to disguise reimbursements as a legitimate "legal expense"...

From the 2018 release from SDNY regarding the charges Michael Cohen plead guilty to...

The 3rd of 3 charges Cohen admitted he was guilty of...

"Finally, in 2016, COHEN made or caused two separate payments to two women to ensure that they did not publicly disclose their alleged affairs with a presidential candidate in advance of the election."

As to the claims by Trump that it was "legal expenses"... From the Dec 2018 release by DA SDNY on Cohen's crimes...

"COHEN was reimbursed for the latter payment in monthly installments disguised as payments for legal services performed pursuant to a retainer, when in fact no such retainer existed. COHEN made or caused both of these payments in order to influence the 2016 election and did so in coordination with one or more members of the campaign. "

This was NOT Democrats. This was from the office of lifelong GOP and Trump appointed DA SDNY Geoffrey Berman. When Berman got too close to digging into which member of the campaign Cohen "coordinated with" and the investigation led him towards "unindicted co-conspirator # 1 (Trump), Trump had Barr fire Berman and replace him with a Trump loyalist...

That and the deliberate delaying tactics of Trump sycohants among the SDNY is the reason Trump was never prosecuted for crimes related to offenses that Cohen in part went to prison for. Trump was never "innocent", he just gamed the system...

You can't claim that the payments were for "legal services" when your fellow conspirator already went to prison for acknowledging that he in fact took part in a conspiracy to disguise reimbursements as "legal services". Esp when it was your own DOJ that determined (in 2018) that that was exactly what happened...[/MEDIA]

The Trumpers on here will say that everything you just said is all fake news. Book it.

34 million over night in donations. What a haul!
Yeah it will undoubtedly help him with his already known and still to come legal bills...

In addition to 3 yrs in prison, Cohen (who plead guilty) was sentenced to financial penalties as well...

"In addition to the sentence of imprisonment, Judge Pauley also ordered COHEN, 52, of New York, New York, to pay a fine of $50,000, to forfeit $500,000, to pay $1,393,858 in restitution to the IRS, and to pay a mandatory $800 special assessment. Separately, COHEN was ordered to pay a $50,000 fine and to pay a $100 special assessment in the case brought by the SCO. COHEN was also sentenced to concurrent three-year terms of supervised release in both cases, to follow his term of imprisonment. "

Cohen was just the recipient of the phony reimbursement payments masquerading as "legal services". Trump was the mastermind behind the actual conspiracy itself...

That's the great thing about the internet. Historical documents can be preserved for posterity. Like an SDNY release listing the actual charges...

Trump's defense team made a huge mistake in trying to claim there was never any "reimbursement". It's spelled out clear as day in the list of charges Michael Cohen plead guilty to in 2018...

One of the biggest reasons I dislike him as much as I do...is the likelihood/inevitability that he went up to that ball after that shot, gave it a good foot wedge, chunked it in front of the green, chipped on, 2 putted while giving himself a 6 footer, wrote down 4 or 5 on the card, and forced his playing partner to putt out from from 4 feet...and actually took that guys money when he missed for a 6.

In a nutshell, that's how Trump operates and "wins" at everything in his life. There is no argument otherwise, he bullies, cheats, ridicules, and pressures until he gets some version of what he wants...or can spin and portray as being what he wanted.

The crappy thing about our situation...Biden wouldn't ever go on to the golf course, and he'd make up a story about being there and winning. They're both disqualifying, for me. There aren't degrees of shitty-ness for me. I don't care who wins at this point...they're both embarrassing and scary as hell.
I’d love to have a younger choice but not happening. But to say both are scary as hell is just flat wrong. The one who wants revenge, shred the constitution, execute his general who wouldn’t do his bidding, and end democracy is way beyond scary. He can’t even debate actual issues. My wife and I are decently well off and built a new home in SWFlorida. We pay our taxes without complaining. But for Trump to tell billionaires he’s going to make them richer and that’s all they care about is disgusting. It’s not about what’s good for the hard working Americans who pay the bulk of the taxes. It’s about the unabashed greed of the upper 1%. How many billions are enough?

@larsIU where are you at? You need to come save face for your party. 8 liberals on here claim they wouldn’t. Please tell me you would bang this 👇

Are you talking about bleach blonde, bad built, butch body?

You only feel that way because your dear leader finally faced justice.
Our system is flawed because there is always a rush to judgement or hard ass prosecutors and judges who can’t admit they made a mistake in wrongly convicting someone. Just read a long story about a guy here in Florida convicted in the 80’s with zero evidence and a jailhouse snitch facing a long prison sentence who miraculously got no time for kidnapping after he said the guy confessed. DNA finally freed him after 33 years and identified the two murderers who by the way murdered at least two others. The former prosecutor in the case still says the guy is guilty. This after the real murderers admitted to killing and raping the girl. The judge in the case overroad the jury’s sentence of life and gave him the death penalty. Same judge once gave an excon life for being $41 behind on his probation payments.
Thankfully the guy got $14M in a settlement. He was a model prisoner who was so trusted by the prison that he was allowed outside the wire and fixed things for the warden. He is a model citizen who just helps people in his community of Tampa.
My dear leader? Shut up. Such juvenile nonsense. My choice is, was, and remains DeSantis. He didn't make it through the primary.

Kennedy is separate from Trump. His family paid of Mary Jo's to go away. He got drunk at a party, crashed his car in 6 feet of water, got out and left her to drown (for 9 hours) Everything up to the last part was a stupid and negligent mistake. When he left her there it became murder IMO.

I never realized it was only 6 feet of water. It never occurred to him to stand up and open the door?

Wait now Orange Jesus says it’s $39M. Ah the lying continues. He’s a consistent felon if nothing else. He’s also violating the gag order again in his presser. Judge is going to have no choice but to give him that orange jumpsuit to match his complexion.

There’s a reason she has a hat on. I’m not positive this hasn’t been filtered. Plus her feet are disgusting. I have a thing for nice feet.
Are you referring to the false rumor that she only has three toes on each foot? Her feet look like normal feet.

Desantis has been a great Governor and would have been a great President. You’re really dumb.
That’s rich coming from a Trump cultist. Hope you tuned into his presser just a few minutes ago. Now he says “they want to take your cars”. If Crooked Joe said that they’d be invoking the 25 amendment. It was just incoherent unless of course you’re in the cult. Could you please translate?

Biden has been a horrible Pres and will be again, but Trump is simply out of the question. Not an option
Of course he's an option. We didn't have wars and an uncontrolled border and raging inflation in 2020.

Man you guys are funny. Does any one of you actually know what the definition of murder is?
The legal system defines 'murder' in various degrees.

If you kill someone by knowingly getting in your car while drunk and crash it and someone dies, that's murder, imo. May not fit the legal description, but it's murder, nonetheless.

Call it murder or manslaughter or whatever you want - a person is still killed.

Of course he's an option. We didn't have wars and an uncontrolled border and raging inflation in 2020.
Yeah Trumos an option alright. He just claimed migrants were crossing the border with their barbecue grills. Just f###ing hilarious.

We didn't have wars? We had wars inside of the US under Trump. Under Biden those wars are outside of the U.S. and are not even against the US. Trump was still at war in Afghanistan, where is the US in wars today? Are you saying we are by proxy? Inflation is a biproduct of printing money and sending it out into the economy....who did that again?

The border issue is certainly valid but to be honest, there have been attempts to solve it and those have been shot down at direction of the Orange Man (so he can claim they happened under his watch). Those talking points are all manufactured nonsense.

who did that again?
wow your ignorance knows no bounds does it? biden did that with stim checks, tax credits converted to monthly checks, extended unemployment, stays on foreclosures and evictions, etc.

the border was biden as well: title 42, return to mexico, asylum agreements, etc.

you're quite an addition to the board.

Orange Jesus said he would have loved to testify. Why didn’t you then? Oh yeah and the judge wouldn’t let him call an FEC guy. Another lie. Told him he could testify but can’t discuss certain things.standard instruction. And if you were so innocent why didn’t you call witnesses. Oh yeah you did and he pissed the judge off. And guess what. Almost everyone who did testify was an employee or friend, enabler or accomplice. And now you’re slamming the judge. Really a super smart move there Orange Jesus.
