My son-in-law is a UVA grad and big fan, but he tells me there is mounting dissatisfaction with Bennett despite the success he’s had the last 15 years at UVA. I would not be surprised to see him exit coaching soon, too, as the sport has changed dramatically with NIL and the portal. He’s an old school guy like his Dad. Wish IU had hired Bennett instead of Crean, but that’s ancient history now.
