From a list of rising 30 under 30 in D1 FB 24/7

David Cooper, Georgia, Director of Recruiting Relations (29)

A monster behind the scenes at Florida the last few years, Cooper came to Georgia this offseason in the role of Director of Recruiting Relations. Cooper was huge for the Gators’ d-line recruiting, helping them land high-profile players like Gervon Dexter, Tyreak Sappm Princely Umanmielen and Justus Boone along with a few transfers. Cooper had about a four-month stint at Louisville as recruiting coordinator this offseason after being hired in February before taking the job with the Bulldogs. Cooper also previously coached at Texas A&M and The Citadel. Cooper played college football at Indiana, and he’s the older brother of Florida State defensive lineman Robert Cooper.

I just wish they would offer Kalen Deboer 6-7 million per year and get on with it. He can win at Indiana but the salary will have to be there for him to even listen.

And why would a guy with a gig at Georgia ever come back to Indiana?

I'll swear some of you guys could do stand up comedy...🙄

Deboer is never coming back here unless he's been fired and has no other real options...

You couldn't lever him out of Washington with 12 mil a year...

Why would he leave an administration that's serious about football, a much, much more positive and engaged fan base, clearly better talent already in his three deep, along with a seemingly better recruiting base... Only a fool would swap that for Indiana and Deboer is no fool...

We're looking for a guy who'd be happy with a MAC job that hopefully is some sort of savant...
