Ukrainians are themselves at the front lines, by choice, and they merely want our help to thwart an invasion. One that, if it isn't thwarted, would likely be the first of other Russian invasions in the region.

Why in the hell do some of you act like the two options are let Ukraine lose or an endless war. I see this crap in social media all the time and it’s just flat wrong. We provide Ukraine assistance for them to defend themselves, improve or solidify their positions, while simultaneously negotiating for peace. This is the right way to do it. The honorable way that doesn’t cause are allies and partner nations to doubt our promises in the futures
