trump on truth socialist

Trump never had a chance to be president. Less than a day after his inauguration an influential media outlet spoke of impeachment. Almost simultaneously with inauguration, massive marches and demonstrations dotted the country while Democrat rioters burned vehicles in the nations capital. Everything went downhill from there.
MTG introduced an actual motion to impeach Biden on his first day in office, and you want to whine some nonsense about "an influential media outlet" speaking of Impeachment? What exactly does that mean or have anything to do with the facts I laid out?

As Bowl pointed out,Trump had the trifecta after winning in 2016. He won by virtue of electoral votes despite losing in terms of actual votes, and a host of his fellow MAGA alcolytes were ushered into office with him.But within 2 yrs, the people in states like PA,WI,and MI had not only come to regret their votes, but by the 2018 midterms (IIRC) every single pro-Trump office holder in all 3 of those states running in a statewide election had lost.

My point was that sort of disproves the claim that people (aside from the residents of Trump country) were enamored with Trump's policies...Trump wasn't even on the ballot, and people showed up in record numbers to vote against people associated with him or his policies...

my daughter's last report card was 9 A's and 1 B+. She's also won two awards this year. i have not spent more than five minutes helping her with homework and neither has her mom. she doesn't have books. she claims she never has homework or she does it at school. i have no idea. it's a totally different and awful experience. if she came home with bad grades we wouldn't even know where to begin

The only way I would see a B on my 17 year olds report card is if she drew a line through the D.

Your last paragraph is where the major problem with Trump is. If he were simply an incompetent, incontinent, near-senile old man who regularly shits himself he’d already be an embarrassing footnote to US history.

The fact that so many people would be willing to double down on something like January 6 for #diaperdon when he claims an election he lost was/will be stolen is what’s troublesome.
But what new legislation does Trump propose?

What is his healthcare plan?

How is he really going to fix the border?

What plan does Trump have to create new jobs that pay reasonably?

Trump's speeches and posts show he is lost in the deep grass with no direction.

Doing nothing would be a vast improvement as reflected by the past year. And enforce the laws already there

I honestly think his “plan” begins and ends with pardoning himself with some level of revenge /retribution against anyone he thinks wronged him. It doesn’t matter what he does or doesn’t accomplish; he’s going to tell us that whatever “good” happen his watch is his doing and that everything is better than at any time in US history during his presidency.

There is no demonstrable benefit to electing Trump. None.

That's a far cry from "Repeal and Replace Obamacare!! Repeal and Replace Obamacare!!" and "Big Beautiful Wall From California to Texas!!"

Oh well. If Trump gets elected, I suppose we all can count on him not to do a damn thing except bitch about Biden, Obama and Hillary.

He loves to work at nothing all day.

that's the hope. do nothing. as opposed to free everything, lockdowns, defund the police, open border, cash bail, blah blah blah that we'll be paying the price for for years to come. trump will be good. he'll pardon himself. say mean horrible things. get little done. he'll be older than the pile of shit he'll be sitting on in his big baggy bloomers. i wondered why he didn't wear bespoke suits that were in keeping with the times. now we know. he's got big diapers. but hopefully it's haley and that'll be that for these two old pricks

I’m guessing we can count on him shitting his pants while he cheats at golf.

Nothing in Trump's vision will help the average Joe rightwing Republicans. I don't know why they don't realize Trump is not going to do anything for them.

And, if you look at SCOTUS, there is at least one more old justice that could create a vacancy between 2025 and 2029.

The only time the so called "illegal immigrants" slowed down was during covid. But they think Trump will finish his wall (mexico will pay for it) and miraculously that will solve the problem.

Trump will rename Obamacare to TrumpCare and they'll pretend it is so awesome now.

i don't know why you don't realize that joe biden has made things worse. have you seen the price differences between 20 and today? is the world safer? border safer? did defunding the police work or have to be reversed? is cash bail working? we had a murderer in our neighborhood from it. so if trump does nothign the average republican will be greatly rewarded as that's a vast improvement over joe biden actually doing shit. ****ing shit up as obama said paraphrasing. you cut your nose to spite your face backing biden. in keeping with the poor who just keep voting the same way and not understanding why their lot doesn't improve

It’s a weird phenomenon. The only thing he does for the MAGA crowd is say stupid things that get them excited about “owning the libs.”

And that SCOTUS spot is scary to think about.

you mentioned that a lot of Trump’s Covid decisions were actually state and local government issues, but you lay everything in your post at Jie Biden’s feet. Biden didn’t have a defund the police policy.

And there are things I’m paying less for - like gas. I’m also better off than I was during Trump. Our local sheriff’s office has added a cruiser and a K-9 unit. Should I thank Biden for that?

Presidents get - and often take - too much credit for stuff. I get being critical of Biden’s border policies, but those can be fixed. Call and write your representatives.

How pliable do you think Trump’s revenge/pardon tour will be? How agreeable will he be to accepting a loss in an election?

I think him running with the possibility of him losing and not accepting defeat again is an existential threat to our democracy. I say that without an ounce of hyperbole.

I mean, what do you think happens if he loses? Do you think he’ll just shrug and go home? What about his couch potato impotent MAGA brigade who think they’re bad ass patriots? Do you think they’ll respect any peaceful transfer of power that doesn’t involve getting their way?

the progressives did and he came out with the progressives. harris was calling cops murderers.

not less than under trump. want to compare prices today vs under trump? cars? houses? groceries? insurance? and do we get a refund for the last three years? remember. everything that is improving today is in spite of biden not because of biden. the house flipped, manchin, shut his dumbass down, and things are starting to improve. don't make the same mistake again in 2020. biden is a total disaster for everyone's daily lives. not academic democracy bullshit

all of the other stuff i care little about. he's complied with the courts at every turn. he hasn't bunkered in on the island behind a militia. hate trump fine. trump is a pos. support haley. but to support biden is just willful ignorance. it's ignoring the destruction of the last three years in nearly every measurable area

His “impenetrable” wall is actually an easily defeated fence that was breached 11 times per day in 2022. It’s turned out to be a $15 billion boondoggle that is breached with ladders and cheap power tools. After violators cut through, they often conceal the breach with tinted putty making it easy to use the cut-through area again and again. Some of the cuts have been wide enough to allow vehicles to pass through. Tunnels that have been dug have been effective as well.

Excellent points. His “vision” for a second term is retribution and revenge against all his enemies, and a pardon for himself. He’s a chaos agent who will have loyalists in every key position, and they’ll be more than willing to do his personal bidding. He’ll resume his wrecking ball assault on American institutions and he’ll continue to show disdain and contempt for the rule of law, with fewer guardrails in place to limit his reckless and criminal conduct. A second Trump administration would be an unmitigated disaster for the United States.

More hilarity.

Nothing he could have done to avoid Covid criticism? How about punting on those wacky daily briefings when he falsely promised Covid would end “like a miracle,” by Easter 2020 and/or when the weather got warmer? How about passing on his snake oil salesman shtick when he promoted “remedies” like “bright light, “injecting disinfectants - - like a cleansing,” and “hydroxy?”

Too funny, man.
Yikes. I forgot how many people died, how many lost their small businesses, or how many lost their jobs because of those wacky daily briefings.

You said there was nothing he could have done to avoid Covid criticism. That was a ridiculous assertion and I explained why. Your response here is, predictably, inapposite.

Dumb. Post better. You have a shitty reaction score.
You have me confused with someone who cares. Are you posting from your hiding place? 🤣. Seriously, I had no idea our nation was so weak & on the edge of collapse that a couple thousand losers led by a a moron could topple our government just by saying stuff.🤣🤣

electoral votes are actual votes.

Trump policies polled well. Trump didn’t poll well for several obvious reasons.
Trump's policies polled well in Red states, which is not what we're discussing. So I guess your explanation for the huge loss of GOP seats in the 2018 midterms (without Trump on the ballot) was Trump's personality? States where Trump squeaked by in 2016 like MI,WI and PA suddenly turned against Trump/Maga because of ... Trump's personality disorder?

Is this a proclivity of Purple state voters that they value personality over policy? Voters in Red states somehow didn't get the message that Trump was mean, so they continued to vote for pro-Trump candidates when they ran for re election in 2018?

Really strange how voters in all 3 states could each aprove of Trump's policies in the 2 yrs of Maga control from 2016-18. Ohio voters (with no Trump on the ballot) decided that they wanted those policies to continue and elected people with a pro-Trump orientation. But their neighbors in MI and PA, even though they also "loved" Trump's policies rejected people who were pro-Trump in outlook because of Trump's mean tweets?

You've admitted previously that you troll, and have an inclination to stretch the truth to needle people and amuse yourself. Maybe you generally believe that policies that you liked somehow also resonated with average Americans, most of whom have little in common with you?
