She wasn’t part of a tour group. She was trying to gain access to a highly restricted area and given the calls from the crowd she was with to do harm to members of Congress and Mike Pence, I don’t know what people expected would happen.

I think when they realized he was going to fire, they stopped. If he had held back when she went through, then more than likely the rest would have followed. He would have then had the decision of shooting more people or putting the lives of the people he was supposed to protect at risk.

Once the building was breached, the cops began falling back into a protective perimeter around the House members. That's where they made their stand.

I'm sort of ambivalent toward Joe Biden and his family. He wasn't my first choice to come out of the 2020 Democratic primaries, but I did vote for him over Trump. All that said, I'm not sure what that has to do with what we're talking about here.
