What would have happened had he stayed at IU, at QB, the year Sudfeld went down? Funny thing is, he may not have gotten this path forward? Life can be funny that way
Or if that UMASS D lineman wouldn't have fallen on him and broken his leg. He may have never lost the starter roll to begin with... football is funny that way. Life really.
he very successfully played out his college eligibility at QB, at Illinois State.
he didn't shift positions until the CFL.

I wish he would have stayed at IU, thought he may have put a lock on the QB job when Sudfeld went down if he had as he could have demonstrated his athleticism, etc. Anyway, very glad it's worked out for him here / now with Bears at CB, showing that thoroughbred athletes always tend to rise in the end!
