The Serious Election Day Thread

Early vote dropped in Nebraska…heavily Democratic. Fischer 5 points behind Ricketts and Ricketts will win easily. Appears no upset for Osborn

That's ridiculous man. You really need to chill the hell out.
I didn’t post the long diatribe. Tell Goat to chill the hell out. You weren’t around the Saturday night Goat was drunk insulting the hell out of me telling him to chill out.

All I care about is that the levy renewal campaign I chaired (largely as a figurehead) is winning in a landslide (nearly 70% for)
hmmm, Is that anything like the campaign on Druid to prevent the air from leaving their atmosphere? As I recall, the were 31% against that so you can take this as a win!

Anyone else seeing this as a deja-vu from 2020? In 2020 I distinctly remember Florida and Ohio being called early in big routs and Virginia being too close to call. Only for Virginia to swing late due to outstanding blue counties. To me nothing is different this time around, so far.

It still has some of that vibe. However margins in some other states are more Trump so unlike then, Ohio?, not likely to flip.

Pennsylvania is still legitimately in play for Harris.

Stoll, I flipped out after ten years of you repeatedly insulting my career and my life. You literally insulted me for making the decision to move home and take care of my disabled mother. So, seriously, f*ck the f*ck off.

That may guarantee a GOP Senate.
Senate is put to bed. Now it's just a matter of margin. 53? 55?

Senate makes me feel much better about whatever happens in the Presidential race. Blowing up the filibuster and adding seats to SCOTUS, maybe even adding states was one of my biggest fears from a Harris Presidency. Now I only have two thing I'm really worried about.

1. Continued resettlement of migrants in swing states

2. DOJ going after any notable Republican that's inconvenient

If I could just be assuaged of those two fears I wouldn't care much who won tbh.

We just need a Dem House at this point to make sure the feds can't do anything for two years. That's a win at this point.

Please vote me out.
You do realize that the power is in your hands, if you wanted to use it. It's really easy to STFU if one honestly wants "out". Maybe go ask the hoosiersportsnation mods how they are gorwn ups and this shit doesn't happen over there, and almost NO ONE gets expelled. Respect comes when it's deserved. They pull it off every day and the posters respect them.
Life lesson option, if you want to take it. Totally up to you. I will follow if you lead.

As long as Harris holds PA, MI, and WI it won't matter.

If I ever said something insulting for taking care of your mom, I sincerely apologize. Noting more special than taking care of your mom.

I read Mark post tonight and thought what the hell is that doing in your serious thread. Looks like others don’t see it the way I did.

I accept your apology if you drop the "If I ever" bullshit.
