The PGA is tax expempt?

Ha! yeah 501(c)6 nfl used to be too. i think the nhl still is. some nutty deal for trade organizations and leagues that reinvest in themselves. our tax code is laughable.
Yeah, researched it a little bit and the NFL gave it up voluntarily in 2015.

But WTF???

I'm going to have a hard time buying that.
Only the NFL itself was tax exempt. None of the teams or their related business entities were. Just the league office, which makes very little actual income. So this story got thrown around hurting the NFL's image, and they didn't get much out of it. Plus, filling as a non-profit, they had to disclose the commish's salary. Now they get to keep that shit secret.
