The Mueller report confirms

You should know by now facts mean nothing to these folks with TDS.
You should be ashamed. Of course the left is hysterical. Of course in some ways they should be pointed at and laughed at.

But there is nothing funny about our number one existential geo-political foe interfering in our election. Further, I’d be pretty goddamned embarrassed if I continued to play directly into their hands with my rampant sowing of discord and turning this country more towards real socialism, which is what can happen when the Conservative party elects a bumbling buffoon.

So what would you call your set of “these folks?”

Interesting that Trump would be in even more trouble if his staff had followed his instructions. Many times they refused to follow his orders to obstruct or collude. He specifically asked for Hillary’s deleted emails, he told McCaul to fire Mueller.

Get over it. You don’t have what you need to impeach.

Well...the makeup of the Senate pretty much guarantees that. Impeachment wasn't in the cards the moment the election results were certified. Heck, it took a 14-person Democratic majority in the Senate during Watergate to make impeachment a possibility to consider at that time. Wasn't going anywhere with a GOP majority.

That said, you offer a pretty damning defense of the President with that rationale. The low bar you have for your boy is specifically why you're going to lose in 2020.

Wait a minute.... I thought you were of the mind his entire staff was imbeciles...which is it...

You lost.... Trump beat you. It ain’t over either for your party. We gonna get to the bottom of this and it will be marvelous

But once again, he underestimated his moronic, uneducated, complicit, unethical base. They are just as bad as he is now. Complicit. Unpatriotic.

To paraphrase, Trump states publicly, "russia if you are listening, get those emails, release those emails!!". If that's not evidence of conspiracy, then what is?

You and Uncle Mark. The post you reference and several others will be history in a short as will your whine. FYI the poster making these crude and profane comments is now on and extended vacation.

It's about time you did something about him. Getting ridiculous on this board lately.

If only you had a couple of C141’s full of American dollars to prove conspiracy..... intent matters

I hope this meets the obviously high standards our noble overlords have set for the cooler.

Thanks. I responded to him and self deleted. For once showing some restraint on my part.

So let’s deal with the facts, stoll. You proud of what this report shows from the President you continue to support?

" We received the President's written responses in late Nov 2018. In Dec 2018 we informed counsel of the insufficiency of those responses in several respects. We noted, among other things, that the President stated more than 30 occasions that he 'does not recall' or 'remember' or have an 'independent recollection' of information called for by the questions. Other answers were incomplete or imprecise. The written responses, we informed counsel, 'demonstrate the inadequacy of the written format, as we have had no opportunity to ask follow up questions that would ensure complete answers and potentially refresh your client's recollection or clarify the extent or nature of his lack of recollection. We again requested an in-person interview, limited to certain topics, advising the President's counsel that 'this is the President's opportunity to voluntarily provide us with information for us to evaluate in the context of all of the evidence we have gathered. The President declined."

Swing and a miss.
It’s not actually. I am fully convinced that no crime was willfully conducted. Nuance isn’t your strong point.

But after wading through the first 50 pages of the report, I’m ready to cut Russia the **** off from society. And I’m vindicated in my hypotheses during the campaign cycle that half of the bullshit retweets and chain mails were coming straight from Russian bots. And I held my nose and voted for an emotionless political nightmare named Hilary partly because I didn’t want our nation to play into the hands of our number one geopolitical foe.

But you just care bout winning as this thread shows. Kudos.

And someone is confused about what the report actually said...
No collusion and no obstruction.... pretty simple what it said wouldn’t you agree? Now, why don’t you say what you really mean? What you mean is “Someone is confused about what I perceive the report is inferring”. The reason the report doesn’t say he colluded or he obstructed is because there wasn’t any evidence of it. The entire investigative team was made up of Democrat operatives and donors. They wrote it as open as they could with as little support as they could and you still got nothing....

We are gonna get to the good stuff over the next couple of months. The IG is coming and the AG will start. The left had there shot and missed... now our turn.

I mean, to be fair, that is not an admission of guilt.

I’m reading this whole report through a completely different lens. That of a guy who thinks that social media has ruined our nation and it led to electing a bumbling carnival barker. Is it our prosperity that has led to so many stupids? Russia was organizing and funding Trump rallies and was able to get US rubes to coordinate them. That’s disgusting.

Our republic will not survive The Great Stupiding without a major interjection.

Meh, it looks like Trump only attempted to obstruct justice. It’s all good.

Could you imagine if this was in a report about a president from that demuhkrat pawty? Fox “News” anchors would be passing out on tv.
Gee more what if’s.... how nice it must be to live in your world.....not

That’s it in a nutshell. Those still calling themselves Republicans just don’t care about anything other than their team being in power. They don’t even try to rationalize anymore. They fully admit that they don’t care.

What Ranger wrote is perfect and I agree with. Where we differed was he chose he could hold his nose. Why do you guys refuse to accept responsibility for what happen in the Dem Primary? I am convinced Trump is President because there was no way in heck Hillary was gonna pull votes. Terrible candidate. She stole that Primary. Correction, she paid for it. I couldn’t hold my nose to vote for her. I just couldn’t because I feared what it would mean.... I thought we lost the election the minute he won the Primary.

You guys are so focused on him you are missing what needs addressed in your party to appeal to the majority of Americans. Right now your message is way off...

Cool. There's one more you need to take a close look at. He's added zilch to the discussion, done nothing but post Neener! throughout numerous threads, and sent many discussions into a downward spiral. This is a serious enough topic that the discussion needs to be well maintained.

Still wrong. I'm here partaking in the free entertainment the WC provides as self-proclaimed betters throw tantrums about political events beyond anyone here's ability to control.

Just because you insist Trump cooperated with Russia to beat Hillary doesnt make it so. In fact, Mueller says it ISN'T so. Where are your credentials which support the notion I should believe you over the special counsel assigned to investigate this matter?

If my ability to view this particular chain of events as political machinations executed by opponents of the current duly-elected president makes me a winner, so be it.

The refusal by so many to accept the election and now the results of this investigation troubles me at least as much as anything Trump has ever done. At least half this country has gone berserk. In public. YIKES!

Is there anything else you would blame, besides just social media? This is anecdotal, but the Trump supporters I know are not that prosperous. The prosperous Republicans I know don't defend or really care for our POTUS. Am I alone with this observation?

And what do you mean by "major interjection"?

Sure. Plenty of blame to go around. Social media and cable news fuel confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance.

The #NewGOP’s war on education fuels contempt for intellectualism and expertise. The far left’s insistence on putting identity politics at the forefront of nearly every major discussion contributes to nationalism pushback. It goes on and on.

It’s imperative that we start to treat twitter and Facebook as media companies and no longer as platforms. They must become responsible for what they show and the data that they collect on people. Would this crater their stock prices? Yep. Fugg ‘em (Aka I sold my stocks recently).

We have to get back to acting as a people that rely on each other and not as shitty online personas.
