I mean, I've heard solar panel installation basically eliminates electric bills, and you can even sell energy back...if you're willing to tack those things on your roof.

I was actually interested in the economics. Seemed like a decent idea for those inclined, like driving a Prius...as long as you're not concerned about how shitty it looks, could be good financially if it actually paid for itself without subsidization.
I actually considered rigging up my motor home with panels...until someone told me it would power one TV maybe...and not the A/C. 😄
there are solar powered calculators too. Just about as much difference in what I do and what powers the grid, than panels on your RV or house.
My projects take up 2000 acres and power entire counties.
