Just give him the #7 already. @sglowrider

Meh. Macchio did it better:

A. Johnny was the two-time defending champion of the All Valley Under-18 Karate Championships tournament in both 1982 and 1983.

B. Daniel had just turned 18, with an injured leg, when he beat him.
But he had Liz Shue in the wings. Man would do a just bout anything for pre Cocktail Liz Shue.

Ps. She was 18 right. Right?!?!?

I didn't watch the game... Was a little late for me. But had it on radio.

Saw the clip earlier. One of the goal of the season.

Ganacho is still inconsistent. Needs to learn the game still -- misses out his defensive assignment or positioning. Plus he needs to learn to play with different gears when attacking.
He is. But he’s young. Keep him on the field.

Mainoo looks class too. United most in form team in the league approaching Christmas. Didn’t have that on the bingo card.

Mainoo is only 18.

His composure at that age is incredibly especially for playing that position. One mistake by him and it will open up the floodgates for the opposition.
One thing to show it at the academy level but I really didn't expect him to adapt a fish in water so quickly.

Btw our injury list is just incredible this season. Mount is out for a month to 6 weeks. Won't get like 3-4 players back only in January. Then another handful next month.

Kobbie:

He is the obvious replacement for Casemiro when he does move on. He'll still need some mentoring

The first season of that show, and hearing things from Johnny’s perspective, and his Facebook message to Elizabeth shue was perfection.

Quick mls note. Tony meola is wonderful. Calm different approach. Knowledgeable. Not annoying. Really impressive. Wouldn’t have guessed that in a million years

This thread sucks. I just came to it and the least a soccer thread here should do is mention IU making another elite eight!! They really turned this season around. Ok…back to whatever you guys are talking about.

Thanks! I do read there, just don’t post! Thanks for the updates. I don’t know much about soccer, but I do know the last couple minutes with a one goal lead is the most excruciating and long few minutes of any sport I follow!

Have you ever considered serving in the role of a class representative in a suit against Instagram for ruining your life? Surely, they knew--nay, encouraged--monkey branching through their app to drive revenue. All without any care about the damage it could do to significant others, to relationships, to families--the very building block of our great nation!

Why, to allow Instagram to walk on this case would be to justify, to encourage, to cheer even the destruction of all we hold dear. No, this cannot stand.

We'll demand $1 billion to start, and work down from there.

Hold at one billion. We’ll get it at the first break of my deposition.

Best revenge idea -- go chop off the heels of all her shoes or cut up all her favourite dresses.

A friend of mine did that. This guy knows women.

They’ll never let my story get to a jury. My pain and suffering. We’ll do my depo at your favorite bar. Rent it out. That way they’ll be no delays in the celebration

It's a trifecta for FC Cincinnati. Defender of the Year (Matt Miazga), Coach of the Year (Pat Noonan), and now MLS Player of the Year - Luciano Acosta (who also had the goal of the year)

Miazga fined and suspended three games, including the semifinal and final (assuming FCC gets there), for barging into referee's locker room after NYRB game. What a dumbass.

If you click on photo in tweet you should be able to read the details (I think they give you one free read at Queen City Press). While FCC previously disputed some of the details, no one disputes that he went into the locker room and had words with the referees. There was also a detailed statement from an eyewitness reporter that is very damning. They are also sending him to anger management counseling. Again, Miazga is a great defender but also a royal douchebag.

what a weird deal. apparently cincy already lost its appeal. but noonan objected to the account of what transpired and said "it's fabricated." i guess pertaining to how aggressive/hostile he was.

OK, I admit that I've been pretty religiously wagering on the Bundesliga, EPL, various Europa and Champions League games, and even some isolated goal totals in La Liga and Danish Superligaen...

But I absolutely draw the line at MLS. I don't trust any of those teams...

And speaking of IU, and it's soccer dominance...My first year at IU coincided with IU's transistion from club sport to varsity status. Just making the NCAA tournament at some future point seemed like a pipedream back then. But within 4 yrs they were in the first of their 22 College Cups, although they won their first two titles when I was in Germany...
