Russia-Ukraine war has begun

Imagine moving your artillery piece into position, setting it up, loading, firing a shot and before your shot hits the ground the enemy has already located you and returned country battery fire.........killing you.
Artillery #'s have been large the last few days. I wonder if the Orcs are moving into more forward positions planning for a big push? 400,000 Personnel for valentines day?

Ecuador is trading us Russian crap for US equipment, and we are sending the Russian junk to Ukraine. I am sure Ukraine would rather have US, but they need anything they can get. Of course it angers Russia

What's Ecuador have? Like a couple tanks and some troop transports? lol

Somehow I don't think it will sway the Ukraine war one way or the other.

I doubt it does either, but all reports I read is that Ukraine is desperate. The big take, it gives us a new purchaser and it angers Vlad the Impaler.

We have prohibitions against third party transfers as well. Our hammer is we’d stop all undelivered systems (keep any funds they’ve transferred already) and end future sales or other weapons transfers. They have to go with inferior replacements- like Russia’s. Russia’s hammer is the same except Ecuador has to turn to better systems.

Russia is about to produce a new self propelled artillery place that they believe to be a game changer. Of course most new systems do not perform as well as the brochure claims.

More systems to be destroyed.

Does not fit for this war, but I would not be surprised if automated underwater drones are a thing.

Imagine that.

I think it's informative that they are "swarming" drones. It's not possible to control a drone in real time underwater. Physics gets in the way.

It is all very interesting, but then again we have been finding a way to kill each other for ................A very long time. How are the physics of water any more difficult than air? Do you mean comms signal?

Brilliant. This may force Russia to negotiate more than anything on the battlefield.
Honestly, I don't think there will be a russian negotiation until after russia is annihilated, and without our further support, Ukraine can't do it. Putin and puppets will lob rockets for decades, for 3 years after Moscow and St. Petersburg is leveled. It'll be tit for tat. Saddly. And if we force Ukraine to accept the current loses, the world will be right back here in 4 yrs.
There's a time for russian death, and it is now.

That won't happen. Russian cities won't be leveled. But their economy can be brought to its knees if its oil production is stopped or severely disrupted.

Not even Russians will go along with Putin if the economy grinds to a halt.

Anyone have any thoughts on the recent change in leadership? Strategically, it seems like an obviously bad move.

The best trained and equipped brigades in the Ukrainian Army were so dispersed when the Spring Offensive began that they had little to no impact.

Couple that with the fact the two men were never close …it’s been reported that there have been tensions for months

This looks like a laundry list given to Zelensky from the West after a critical assessment.

Rotating the troops is a great idea, as is giving the best weapons to front-line troops. Tells me they're gearing up for another offensive after Spring.

Hopefully they recruit better. Everything seems to indicate troop shortages.

He fell into the trap of ensuring everybody has a little bit of the newest equipment
