Cancun itself, no..... but there are some higher end, very private, boutique resorts about an hour south of there, closer to Playa del Carmen. Easily run $1k/night+
If you’re spending 1K a night anywhere near Cancun you have bad taste. Probably going to Tom Creams tailor as well.
Have you been anywhere in the Riviera Maya region? I generally hate AI type places that you think of near Cancun, but the top end ones built in the jungle further south there are pretty terrific, and on par with any other luxury resort in the Caribbean. Unless you hate top shelf booze and wine, fine dining, having a butler, and absolute privacy and quiet.
