Bringing my family down for the weekend and attending the Bucket game. We didn’t figure on having all day to kill before kickoff, but now that game time is set for 7 I need some advice. My boys are both under 18 and am curious which establishments in town they can get into that are sports bar type environments? I know Nick’s is an option, but wasn’t sure about places like Kilroy’s, The Upstairs, etc.

Any advice or ideas on how we should spend the day??

Thanks in advance!

Kilroys, Brothers, Upstairs, etc are all 21+ and believe that Kilroys is closed this weekend anyways due to the holiday and students off campus. Nick's if you can get a table downstairs is probably your best bet. Upland isn't a bad spot but doesn't have the greatest sports bar vibe. Yogi's may be worth a look as well.

Unless it's changed since I was there, Kilroys and the Upstairs Pub are 21 and over.

Nick's, Yogis, and the crazy horse were my favorite sit down joints there.

It'll be hard to get into Nicks on any game day. Yogi's is probably an option. I used to go to the Crazyhorse all the time. Your kids can sit in the areas away from the bar. The food has gotten a lot better, especially the soup, thank Scotty the head chef for that and tell him hello. He is a great guy. I would get to the game real early, the crowds aren't like they used to be. I love having problems that winning programs incur. Go Hoosiers beat the toiletmakers.

Actually brothers is all ages until 9. They have a kids menu. I believe sports is too. The city changed the ordinance to accommodate this years ago.
Bubs burgers has TVs and they can do the burger challenge too. @Sobchak_Security
