Yea “IU sucks” is much betterI'm just grateful the chants of KEL-VIN SAMP-SON *clap* *clap* *clap* were short-lived in Bloomington. Listening to my buddies doing that every game is something I'm glad is now well in the past.

Lol you apparently don’t attend or watch Purdue football games. The two aren't related, but I hate that one even more. It's gone on too long. It was humorous like the first time or two, it quickly jumped the shark, and now its obnoxious.
No. I'm sure he does. And like most Purdue fans, they wish the students would chant cancer sucks every game vs one game a year.Lol you apparently don’t attend or watch Purdue football games.
Lol yea it’s just the students 😂😂No. I'm sure he does. And like most Purdue fans, they wish the students would chant cancer sucks every game vs one game a year.
Go to a game.... it clearly comes from the student section. No one in any non student section chants it.Lol yea it’s just the students 😂😂
I've been to 2 games this year with a 3rd on Saturday. All in one of the JPC luxury suites. You are absolutely wrong if you think only students say it. There were multiple people in the suite alone that said it each and every time.Go to a game.... it clearly comes from the student section. No one in any non student section chants it.
I think this is a good assessment. I two have concerns about how Purdue handles big physical guards. I feel a little better after the Villanova game since they were pretty stout at the guard and forward spots.Right now..
I got Purdue...
thanks though for me I was not a good 👍 man 👨 just a couple years away Much deeper..
A team like Houston who has men like Baylor had last year..
That's a team that would cause Purdue tog problems..
Get up in you every play..jmo
Davis?I think this is a good assessment. I two have concerns about how Purdue handles big physical guards. I feel a little better after the Villanova game since they were pretty stout at the guard and forward spots.
The Hoosiers are far better than last year if for no other reason than the huge improvement in culture. I fully understand that Davis is the most talented player on the team but the one who impresses me the most is Thompson. Good size/athleticism combo and a high motor, unselfish player.
Good luck.
What is "pulling a Purdue"? That same tourney, they beat Tennessee after being down late. Kind of the same deal. Take a lot of luck to make the final 4 as well. Talent helps ya need less luck though.Meh….Purdue has this kind of talk surface every season and then fail in the tourney. It’s like a curse for them. They had a 98% chance to win the Virginia game late a few seasons ago given the time remaining and only Purdue could find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They’ll throttle IU because we won’t match them down low but when the chips are on the table in a meaningful tournament game, they’ll “pull a Purdue,”. It’s part of their DNA.
C’mon man. You’ve watched Purdue in the tourney since the 1980 Final Four, right? You have to eventually get through the big dogs to get to the finals. Whether it is a Kansas or Duke or Kentucky, Purdue doesn’t make it over that hump, ever. Like, during the Big Dog Robinson era. Purdue has a storied basketball history in the conference. But, since 1980, how many Big Ten teams have gotten to the F4? Like, half the conference (I’ll count Maryland in there) and Purdue hasn’t made it once in 41 years? It’s mind boggling. That’s what I call “pulling a Purdue.”What is "pulling a Purdue"? That same tourney, they beat Tennessee after being down late. Kind of the same deal. Take a lot of luck to make the final 4 as well. Wrong Gonzaga is way better than anyone else this year. My god they have the first round draft pick coming off the bench....Bad timing if Purdue fans think this is the year. They're very good but I'm not sure they'd beat Nova in March. UCLA and Gonzaga are just as good as Purdue.
Got ya. So not making a final 4 is called a Purdue interesting. Me thinks Purdue gets one if big dog doesn't get hurt. Hummel doesn't. Or haas. Some bad luck. Painter will get his final 4 though. He's one of the best young coaches in the industry.C’mon man. You’ve watched Purdue in the tourney since the 1980 Final Four, right? Maybe the curse is finally broken this year?
Honest question. Why can't Purdue play with Gonzaga? They match up well.Wrong Gonzaga is way better than anyone else this year. My god they have the first round draft pick coming off the bench....Bad timing if Purdue fans think this is the year.
He’s 51 and he’s been coaching at Purdue for 16 years. He isn’t young.Got ya. So not making a final 4 is called a Purdue interesting. Me thinks Purdue gets one if big dog doesn't get hurt. Hummel doesn't. Or haas. Some bad luck. Painter will get his final 4 though. He's one of the best young coaches in the industry.
Because Gonzaga has the size and length to matchup with Purdue’s bigs straight up, and other than Ivey Gonzaga’s guards are superior.Honest question. Why can't Purdue play with Gonzaga? They match up well.
He was 2 years old when Bob Knight came to Indiana. He is young. He’s 51 and he’s been coaching at Purdue for 16 years. He isn’t
They best ucla. Whose their other top 10 win? Just because zagas guards are "superior" doesn't mean Purdues guards will forget how to play.Because Gonzaga has the size and length to matchup with Purdue’s bigs straight up, and other than Ivey Gonzaga’s guards are superior.
They’ve now blown out two top 10 teams, and could get a 3rd blowout of a top 10 team on Friday.
Most guys age 51 have been coaching for 16+ years in some capacity. Doesn't affect their age or experience. He’s 51 and he’s been coaching at Purdue for 16 years. He isn’t young.
Bob Knight is very old. Painter is not a young coach. He was 2 years old when Bob Knight came to Indiana. He is young.
Texas? You are arguing against Gonzaga and didn’t know they already beat down Texas too? They best ucla. Whose their other top 10 win? Just because zagas guards are "superior" doesn't mean Purdues guards will forget how to play.
Yes, and he isn’t a young coach. Most guys age 51 have been coaching for 16+ years in some capacity. Doesn't affect their age or experience.
Or more satisfied with not winning anything of note in the ncaas. Two coaches in 40 years resulting in zero final fours, three elite eights and still they bleat about what a great program they have. What a waste of talent it was for them to have had glenn robinson and cuonzo martin on the same team in 93(?).There is no fanbase more insecure than Purdue.
I didn't realize Texas was 8th. I missed them. Purdue guards would score on Gonzaga. They shoot threes.Texas? You are arguing against Gonzaga and didn’t know they already beat down Texas too?
Purdue’s guards aren’t good enough to play with Gonzaga’s. The frontcourt is a wash.
As long as you acknowledge all coaches age 51 are old. Painter has 20 more years of coaching though. And is more experienced than most.Yes, and he isn’t a young coach.
Lol Purdue’s guards would get destroyed. Sasha and IT guarding athletic players that can shoot is laughable.I didn't realize Texas was 8th. I missed them. Purdue guards would score on Gonzaga. They shoot threes.
Cool, maybe he will get to a final 4 in the next 20 yearsAs long as you acknowledge all coaches age 51 are old. Painter has 20 more years of coaching though. And is more experienced than most.
He has done very well and done it in the shadow of IU, that said he has benefitted from coaching issues at IU that netted him some players that otherwise would have played in Btown. As long as you acknowledge all coaches age 51 are old. Kind of like nova?Lol Purdue’s guards would get destroyed. Sasha and IT guarding athletic players that can shoot is laughable.
Why couldn't they keep him? If he didn't go to mizzou when the athletic department didn't financially support him, why wouldn't they keep him now that the athletic department is investing in sports? It isn't a coincidence almost every sport has gotten better since bobinksi got there. He has done very well and done it in the shadow of IU, that said he has benefitted from coaching issues at IU that netted him some players that otherwise would have played in Btown.
He has 15-20 years left. The question is can PU keep him or will he be lured away by a big name program where he can recruit more easily and be king in his state or even region.
Nova’s guards torched you. They couldn’t match up with your size.Kind of like nova?
He’s reached his peak at Purdue. Especially now that he said Purdue won’t be involved in NIL.Why couldn't they keep him? I believe UCLA contacted him before they hired Cronin. Not sure Painter considered them.
How has he peaked at Purdue? That is literally the dumbest shit I've heard. Especially when you consider the admin support he gets now vs 6 years ago....He’s reached his peak at Purdue. Especially now that he said Purdue won’t be involved in NIL.
Purdue guards scored about half of Purdues points as well. It's not like purdue won solely because of size. So you can't sit here and tell me Purdue guards can't win big games.Nova’s guards torched you. They couldn’t match up with your size.
Are you really equating Nova to Gonzaga? You are a moron.
He can only do so much with the players he is able to get. Coaching at Purdue limits the players you can get. He’s at his peak. How has he peaked at Purdue? That is literally the dumbest shit I've heard. Especially when you consider the admin support he gets now vs 6 years ago....
And again. I've not seen anywhere where Painter said he won't be involved in NIL. Especially when bball players are currently involved in NIL.
Lol because they had open shots because nova had to double the post. Gonzaga doesn’t need to do that.Purdue guards scored about half of Purdues points as well. It's not like purdue won solely because of size. So you can't sit here and tell me Purdue guards can't win big games.
It's hard to say who someone is clearly better with a small sample size though.
I beg to differ. He’s reached his peak at Purdue. Especially now that he said Purdue won’t be involved in NIL.
You're arguing with a desperate person. He argues that Nova's guards torched us but our guards were more offensively efficient than Nova's(we won the game). He argues CMP is old but name a coach under 50 you would take....wait... they grabbed an old man that's never coached at the collegiate level, they argue but Purdue hasn't done anything since 1980, IU hasn't done anything in almost 20 years and have missed the tournament 55% during that time. I hope you're starting to get the point.Kind of like nova?
