Say what you want about the result, but I think they played with maximum effort tonight and it should be acknowledged. I'm proud of the way they played.
Contrast that with the basketball team. I've been too depressed since the Butler game to feel like posting and after that display tonight I'm so demoralized that I don't even want to look at that forum anymore.
I think I have realistic expectations for both programs and the current state of the basketball program is unacceptable. Hope something changes soon.
