I have serious issues with democrats and this admin. I lived here a long time on this planet even remember as a small child the Kennedy's and MLK assassinations. To watch the persecution and assassination attempt of a former president sickens me and makes me realize something is truly wrong! As @mcmurtry66 said in a recent post this board is like Groundhog Day and most of us are sick of arguing points that just go in a vicious circle. It's been that way for years here.
You have dems that are not going to change and think whatever the msm says is gospel. You have a strong TDS contingent that is bat sh!t crazy. You have independents. You have Trumpers who are sick and tired of a corrupt government, msm and every 3 letter agency, and you have old school pubs which are non existent anymore. The dems and old school pubs cling to bought and paid congressman and senators that say one thing and do another and people still buy that sh!t. I know one thing they hate Trump for reasons I can only imagine that he may expose. It's like watching Julian Assange ready to push a button and release hell on DC.
As far as you go make up your own mind. I'm in the Trumper group ONLY because I think DC is a cesspool of corruption and I want the whole thing blown up along with every elitist that buys these politicians. I also think term limits is the best thing that could happen to prevent some of this corruption but here we are still talking about it.

I think you pretty well cover why people vote for Trump. They’ve watched the years of failure of career politicians like Biden. Their only real accomplishments are living off the American Taxpayers. For the Trump voters “he’s not them”.
I believe the only way DC might get cleaned up is term limits. I’d make it 8 years for everyone.

I do not think Democrats are a threat to democracy. I do not think MAGA is a threat to democracy. I find certain aspects of both sides to be just so stupid and unrealistic and basically ignorant to the Fact that not everyone cares about what they care about, and there is probably 40%-50% of your constituents who hate what you stand for.
I just wish we legitimately had more than two parties. I see no point in my future where is register as a dem or gop. I’m too complicated of a guy for that 😎.

Congratulating Putin on anything is going to do nothing but turn off independents that he would have a chance with.
He vomits words that shouldn't come out of his mouth during an election year because he loves to hear himself talk. If he just shut up, he'd have run away with this but now he's got a chance to lose to his opponent who couldn't even get out of the primary four years ago.

I don't think that kind of talk should disqualify him. His framing is shocking, but he's actually doing that consciously. He's clearly treating Putin as a rival in a competition, there, not a great guy.
I'm more concerned with his off-the-cuff hyperbole that isn't well thought out and is dangerous--that's the kind of stuff that should give people pause.
