I don’t often agree with Pope Frank. But I’m at least with him on his conclusion here.

Covid showed the abuses of draconian leftist governments all over the country. To worship. To ignore the law and listen to a higher law required the conviction of a pastor’s faith and beliefs for a higher good. Yes. Congregations were blocked all over the country. I know one in Pennsylvania that stayed open in the face of great danger….

Unlawful assembly. Violation of health regs. Pastors were jailed all over the country. The pastor I know was aware of this reality. He turned to his faith and left the doors open for worship. Allowing Pennsylvanians solace.
