Polls - - a week out

I hope. I’m not feeling good
I have no idea how it’s going to turn out. I listen to pundits and pollsters on both sides. They’re all guessing and generally guessing in favor of who they support.

I do know if Trump wins, the rioting, looting and burning Democrats will come out in force.

Early vote in Georgia was quite different than it was 2020.

Rural I counties are up, younger voters are down and by what I saw it was 3% less AA. Complete numbers for 2020 in link above.

White was 56.5 AA was 27.7….the current data is 58.7 white and 26.2 AA but more important the white voters are not younger white voters in Fulton and DeKalb counties but from rural Georgia
Tom Bonier addressed a variety of issues in the 7 battleground states in his briefing yesterday. Rather than reply to multiple posts about individual states, I'll just link his presentation where he goes into more indepth analysis that the Target Smart data provides. His presentation lasts about 20 min before the Q/A section begins. Since you seem to be providing your input on GA and NV in particular I'll just mention that he addresses questions on both states during Q/A...

I've already posted about early vote in PA, and why GOP gains there are not necessarily beneficial to Trump/MAGA. The Dems have about a 400,000 vote lead, and the Pubs have cut into the margins that Dems had following early vote in 2020 and 2022. But nearly half of the Pub vote is (48%) is comprised of people who voted on election day in 2020, and 46% are people who voted by mail/early in 2020.

So basically that means around 94% of the current early votes returned by registered GOP voters in PA are coming from people who voted in 2020. So up till now the GOP hasn't displayed an ability to turn out "new" voters and they will need to be able to do so to offset the proportion of their 2020 ED vote that has already voted..

The problem is that I don’t think we have a very bright electorate to say the least. So when JLo is sitting home then all of the sudden crying at a podium over the remarks it matters to casual low info voters. And in a race this close it could be dispositive
That’s true, which is why any hoax will do. I do want to commend you on challenging “The Professor”. I’m not strong enough to do it. I just sit in the back of the classroom with my hood up praying he doesn’t call on me.

Thats going to happen regardless of who wins.

I wouldn’t be shocked if there is some sort of terrorist attack on Tuesday. I’m expecting the unexpected.

You can rationally drown yourself into any conclusion you wish. It’s your specialty. In reality you’re reading tea leaves like the rest of us.

Not knowing he would attend is beyond stupid. I would ask. A normal person would ask. Hey who is speaking. I don’t want any bombs a week before the election. It’s been the lead on every major network
I being the lead on every major network is not an argument in your favor. I guarantee you if it wasn’t Peurto Rico it would be amoething else. Hell, many left wing nut jobs, including elected nut jobs, panned the event because the Nazis held a rally in NYC in a different building at a different location more than 80 years ago.

Trump has no defense to this left wing nonsense. You shouldn’t pretend he is responsible in any way. He’s has said often he would not impose a national abortion ban, yet Kamala keeps on saying that. The media not only refuses to hold her accountable, it actually amplifies the lie.

Blaming Trump for Democrat/media lies and misinformation doesn’t hold water. They will lie and spread hoaxes because when it comes to winning the election, they have no rules.

Unforced errors are solely his responsibility. Mitigation

I really don’t want Harris walz. The bail project stupidity comes right to our doors. The taxes will be painful. I will personally get whacked. For what. Gov waste. Pork. Some stupidity in schools. Etc

How would you know that, Stoll? I linked a poll that showed 20+ percent of Republicans think violence would be justified if Trump loses. Less than 5 percent of Democrats think violence justified if Harris loses. How could you know it would be the opposite of what that poll indicates?

Murt, the Dems raiding people's homes and executing their pets is a much bigger FU than anything that comedian said. Trump is smartly jumping all over it.

Look at the past two elections.

You are smarter than that.
There was nothing violent like J6 In 2016. I honestly don’t remember any violent election related riots in 2016. I remember some protesting and the lady screaming “NOOOOOOOO!” and the stupid pussy hat protest.

This is probably it for Virginia updates on early voting as the in person ended Friday…1,995,570 for 2024 versus 2,445,138 for 2020. Virginia had a lot mail in ballots this year and unlike Georgia or NC it’s early voting does not include hundreds of satellite sites. Similar story to Wisconsin with fewer AA and minority voters plus younger voters are hanging back. This 45% or so of total turnout. By age, race and what part of the state voted this early vote in 2024 is a big improvement for the GOP over 2020. It might be impactful as far as who wins the state but GOP candidates in VA2/VA7 certainly will benefit.

Weren’t they mostly peaceful? That’s what the article said. I honestly don’t recall any violence and that article made it sound pretty rare so why would I? J6 was violent, memorable and embarrassing - especially for all Republicans.

Yes, I linked his column earlier and he calls out some GOP polls specifically as culprits, including some you’ve been linking. I’m convinced you don’t actually read beyond what your Trumpster Twitter Twits post. They give you their spin and tell you what to think and you obey like an obedient and loyal dog.

Didn't have this on my bingo card

Adding Ron Paul. Are you kidding me?!?! I freakin love Ron Paul.

Hope those worthless government bureaucrat’s are polishing their resumes.

Here I’ll help them.

Employer: United States Department of Education
Year: 2020-2025
Position: Manager of Nonsense
Key Accomplishments:
  • Tried to look busy
  • Carried around a nauseating sense of superiority
  • Destroyed educational outcomes via shutting down schooling
  • Gained 50 lbs.
  • Sent my estranged kids to private school

The f-up is yet another hoax. The comedian was not joking about Puerto Ricans, he was joking about the well-known (to those who know ) trash crisis/problem on the island. The guy is a frequent visitor. The truth is out there, yet the hoax goes on just like the Cheney execution hoax, the fine people hoax, the dictator day one hoax, the blood bath hoax, the project 25 hoax, the abortion ban hoax, the ivf hoax, and on and on.

Many wouldn’t mind if Trump lost in a fair fight, but this isn’t that. The Dems got nuthin’; no defensible record, no appealing promises, and nothing but a conglomeration of hoaxes, lies, and epithets against the opponent. Yet all of that is working. Thank the lord for democracy.

Hoaxes have consequences as you noted in the self service thread.
Whatever do you mean? It's definitely a level playing field. No advantage for either side. 😉

I realized last night why this is so funny. Someone has to have big balls to face a keyboard warrior who acts like the head bully of a high school clique on a damned online forum. That is rich. I’ll stick to the sports boards from now on and let you guys feel powerful in your little fiefdom here
Please don't. This place sucks enough. You leaving won't help.
