People on Woodson’ case….chill out. It’s hasn’t even been 12 months.

Hard to argue with this, like I do with many of your other posts. But the team was within hailing distance of at least 4 other wins which would have been a very decent first- year season. But, they don’t know how to close out close games and their personnel is lacking a big-time go-to scorer and better overall players. Woodie still has lots to learn about the college game. It’s Indiana and the honeymoon is over. I hope he and his staff spend a lot of time self-reflecting on what they did wrong and how they can improve. If they do that and add some better players who can also shoot the damn ball, he’ll succeed.

Some think the honeymoon is over some will give him a three year honeymoon. He talked a big game so if he does not produce next year sure he will have his loyal rah rah guys but most will not be happy

Gard took over a team that won 36 games the year before. Underwood won a whopping 14 and then 12 games in his first 2 years.

Gard also had a losing record in either his first or second full season as head coach. When he first became the head coach it was mid season when Ryan retired. Gard was also an assistant for Ryan for several seasons and had been the associate head coach for 3-4 years prior to taking over. It’s not like Gard came in from nowhere with zero college experience.

Yes, but other than a Romeo and TJD Miller was a bad recruiter. He couldn’t build a team filled with players needed to field a balanced squad. Crean was a mediocre coach, but great recruiter, though.

Woodson said all season that he didn’t look at this season as a rebuild wanted to make the tourney and finish strong in the B10. I look at it as just being positive and keeping his guys confident. Nothing wrong with that, especially since there were a lot of close losses so it wasn’t like that goal was completely unrealistic.

You need a leader who holds people accountable and Woodson is the 1st coach in 20 yrs to do so

Biden's working out just fine. He's not responsible for gas prices or inflation. But Trump did get impeached for trying to shake down Ukraine's president for aid. Guess you're fine with that
