Finally finished watching season 2 of For All Mankind (Apple+). Great show, and I cannot wait for season 3.
For anyone unfamiliar, the series is a semi-alternative history of the U.S. and Russian space programs. Not to give too much away, but the basic premise is that the space race continues in earnest well beyond the first moon landing. As a result, U.S. and Russia space activities progress significantly further than in real life; so much so that season 3 appears to have a man on Mars in 1995. There are some really great characters in the show, with some portraying actual people (e.g., Deke Slayton) and others loosely based on actual people (e.g., Gordo Stevens, based on Gordon Cooper).
Apple+ is really producing solid shows. Their goal is clearly quality over quantity, similar to HBO I suppose.
Dickinson is pretty good, and obviously
Ted Lasso is as good as it gets.
