Thank you! I’ve been on this train all year. I even do it when he makes a big catch. It has NOT caught on in my section. Maybe no one has seen the wire?
I’ve also thought it would be awesome if the band would play the farmer in the dell on the flutes on some offensive pre-snaps.

I have news for you I was at Florida Field for the UF - Miami game and there were crowds for concessions and bathrooms there and have always been. I was at the UF vs Georgia game in Jacksonville and it was the same. This is not a problem inherent to Memorial Stadium. It happens everywhere that the crowds reach capacity. Just adapt and enjoy this run while it is here.
Yes Florida had already been singing We Are The Boys of Ole Florida at teh end of the 3rd quarter forever and added Won't Back Down after Tom Petty's death. As you stated.
It wasn't that long ago we swapped the old troughs for urinals which triggered the ADA requirements slowing the pee process down significantly.
Gradman has never been to a larger stadium that was packed. Outside if places like LOS, They all have the same problems
Just enjoy the ride. It beats the alternative for sure. Few wins and fewer fans.
Yup, the days of walk up three minutes before kickoff, pee and a drink during a time out and getting into Nicks or Mother bears after a game are gone...for now.
The Nebraska fans and 1st time attending Hoosier fans were all impressed by our pee troughs 🤣

Is it in grassy lots? I only made it as far as Barstool in that direction. I definitely got my steps in that day with tailgates all over the place.
Don’t know how I missed it then. But that’s great. They really have made some good changes this year.
I will share my experience. I knew it was going to be this way, so I did indeed prepare for it. And overall, I had no problems with it.
-Got to tailgate at 7:30
-cooked brunch for the crew on my small charcoal grill
-headed towards the stadium at just before 11:30
-took a bit to get in, but I chose one of the better lines.....was in my seat with about 15 minutes to go on the clock
-my son chose to wait in line for beers (better him than me) but he made it to our seats with probably 5 min to go
-I got a pass out at half time, high tailed it to my car in the grass lot reserved for a couple of quick beers and high tailed it back. Got back in my seat with 14:56 on the clock. Missed the kickoff, that went into the end zone (so didn't miss anything, I've seen kicks before)
-stayed for about 5-10 minutes after 0:00 left the clock, cheering the team until they were off the field (mostly)
-knew it would be impossible to get out and on my way back to Indy. So, fired up the charcoals and cooked burgers, brats and dogs for the crew, while watching the 3:30 game on our tv
-packed up and headed home at about 530
I have no issue at all with how they handled the sell out crowd. Sure, hopefully they can make some adjustments, but I enjoyed the experience immensely.

It was right next to the Big Noon Kickoff, so it kind of all blended in together.
I love Small Town. However, I think IU will go more hip-hop-rap.
Wait...it's been right in front of us the whole time. IU Baseball even uses it as victory music after W's at home, complete with drone views of campus and other Indiana stuff. FITS PERFECT.

Yep, 7th inning stretch at The Bart. Pretty cool, it would probably be great with the larger screens and MUCH better graphics at "The Rock".
Not sure the students would get into that. I say we let them vote. Try out their top couple ones, then pick one and stick with it.
Some student perspectives would be interesting. We don't seem to have many of them on this board lol.
If anyone from the athletic department is lurking, one of my favorite team entrance songs was the Chicago Blackhawks when they used Testify by Rage Against The Machine. It's a high energy song that gets people pumped up and when using the big screens properly, you can highlight big hits and great plays. Trust me, the crowd goes nuts.
You could talk me into that one. It does lack the audience participation aspect that jump around or something like that offers. But it certainly is energetic.
Rage is great energy music. Instead of Bulls on Parade, Bison on Parade. Renegades of Funk, Know Your Enemy, Killing in the Name of.
Another "more wholesome" song which I think could be custom written for IU football is Roll with the Changes by REO Speedwagon. I think this song would be loved by both young and old fans. Would be a great third quarter song.

This thread reveals once again that we have some OLD and out of touch posters on here when it comes to finding music that is appealing to a variety of tastes and generations.
You can mix in a lot of different songs that every generation will enjoy. The Boston Red Sox work in Neil Diamond with Dropkick Murphys. It can all work great if done correctly.
