Preseason prognosticators had us picked in the 10th or 11th range, which in the expanded list of Big Ten schools may not qualify for “bottom feeder” status, but it’s right near and for certain not acceptable in blood that once poured blue so freely It’s a major disappointment with bad timing-rejection occurring just as we were starting to feel better about ourselves in quest of that elusive Mojo. Somehow, someway, we got to get that Mojo working for us again. We just might have to suck it up this time.Since Marquette beat IU in their "secret game", does that mean that IU will probably be a bottom dweller in the Big Ten?
I just can't imagine IU losing out to Marquette for this 6'11" kid! Maybe IU should bring back Crean to recruit.
Sport is a cruel game, a game of passion that rarely gives you elation for anything but relatively fleeting moments. Therein lies the genius that was RMK. He gave us the game that captivated our attention for an unusual length of time in extended “high”. Since his reign at IU has come and gone, we’ve had to come back down to earth, struggling with the multitude of other earthlings. It’s still fun, but not as much.
Oh, BTW, I’ve deleted the name, “Dawson Garcia” from my memory bank folder titled “Give-A-Chit”. I no longer find him worthy of such valued space.
