I find this whole 'when will she speak to the press' attack interesting as their guy is strategic to only talk with his lickspittles and loyalists.
As a strategy I get it, especially after we've seen how disastrous and insecure he gets when he feels challenged. It's a much better feels when surrounded by lickspittle self proclaimed journalists.
The only time recently that I believe he was available to a not as controlled and more open forum was the Biden debate and that conference a couple weeks ago....displaying why he only talks with no one who will challenge him. Only loyal lickspittles.
But sure talking to the press, particularly the MSM is now considered important. The reasonable answer is she's just been a rumor so far so, she's probably being more quiet with national press until it's officially confirmed, which I believe happened just a few days ago which allowed her to disclose her VP choice.
Boring post I know, more curious how and why this is a craw for Maga right now, especially when their choice hardly ever does a real, open press conference. It's always by ass kissers.
I'm not MAGA at all, and all I can think in reading this post is: are you kidding me?
It's less than 90 days to the election, and we've never heard her debate or sit down for an interview yet regarding this election. No one voted for her to be the Presidential candidate, and she replaced the sitting President as the candidate--a pretty historic event--and she's never been questioned about it. And you find that normal? Acceptable? A right wing misdirection to question why or want her to be questioned?
Do you think this because it's strategically the right thing to do to win an election? What about the fiction we are all working under that this is a democratic process and the people get to decide and judge her positions, policies, etc.?

I'm probably nuts but tend to believe when it's official she'll be doing so much press along with the rallys that she's now doing that you'll get tired of her.
But I do agree that to win a campaign, you must effectively get out there and prove via how you handle tough questions that you are the best choice.
That being said, campaign people way smarter than I would absolutely avoid that if they felt it hurt her campaign....which is my point about Trump.
Lastly when Maga complains about it I don't take it as how you do, their complaint is 100% because they believe it will be a political advantage with zero interest in literally and curiously personally vetting the campaign.
Not that there's anything wrong with that from a competitive angle, but the fake pearl clutching attempts to get attention just comes across to me as total fake outrage especially since their guy is known for mainly doing protected interviews.
Makes it hard to accept the disgust being thrown in an another obvious fake outrage tantrum from the opposition.
Trump is not in charge. He agreed to two debates- nobody said anything about adding additional ones. I would like to see Walz and Vance face off...
But Trump proposed basically 3 debates at nearly 1 a week. That requires preparation, which basically amounts to time off the campaign trail for a person who has been the candidate for less than a month. Essentially the 90 days till election day would be basically reduced to 60, by eliminating the entire month of Sept. Not a lot of positives for KH/Walz that would entice them to want to take vital time off the campaign trail, right in the midst of early voting.
Frankly, an already scheduled/agreed to debate on ABC on the heels of the DNC works much better for KH, because she can concentrate on rallies designed to get solid early votes banked. That way they can put their huge advantage in ground game to good use by concentrating on persuadable voters in swing states. There's really no reason for her to indulge his desire for a Fox debate...She may, but she doesn't really need to
Agreed. She's been busy launching a campaign and it's been handled flawlessly. She officially became the nominee just three days ago. Now it's time for her to meet the press and she will do that, probably on multiple occasions, before the Dems gather in Chicago for the convention.
With respect to her adversary, MAGA seems to have conveniently forgotten that he didn't have the balls to show up for a single debate during the entire primary season. His absence was no doubt a function of his understanding that he would've gotten his ass handed to him. Frankly, his debate performance in late June was abysmal. He was saved only by Biden's shitshow.
If she would commit to all three debates she could use it as an opportunity to code switch for each one. Do one as folksy southern black woman Kamala, one as erudite, stern California prosecutor Kamala, and if she really wants to go for it she can try one as Kamala from Mumbai.

He announced he was withdrawing from the race, he endorsed his VP Humphrey, and Humphrey became the nominee without participating in a single primary.
