Mar-a-Lago is Under Siege

Me too.

The Democrats can’t have a silent Trump. They will keep him in the news through the 2024. You would think they would have learned something in Virginia, but nooooo.

Part of me thinks tgat tge Dems want Trump in the 2024 ticket. Their conduct certainly supports that.

I believe this much is obvious. The Dems would absolutely love for Trump to be the nominee in 2024, as he is by far the easiest candidate for them to beat. The way things are currently shaping up.... he is probably the only candidate they can beat.

There is a reason that GOP strategists are desperate to keep Trump from announcing another run prior to the midterms. He's a complete and total cancer in a general election, and they don't want his name even being mentioned coming into November

Yeah that's why Trump backed candidates won their primary! But keep the propaganda flowing.

There's the tight rope of trying to win the primary being the most trumpiest candidate and then ignoring trump in order to try to win the general election.

Voters seem to have very short memories.

Trump backed Candidate's did great in yesterdays primary. This raid is going to bite the Democrats in the ass!
Trump-backed, election denier candidates had a great day yesterday. Many of the Trump-backed winners this primary season have stated that they wouldn't have certified Biden's 2020 win and some have announced that they'd move to decertify his win, two years after the fact, if elected.

Trump wasn't the only one who backed election denier loyalists, by the way. Dems propped some of them up in the primaries with significant financial contributions.

So, you're saying Trump-backed Republicans did well when running against other Republicans?

I can see why you're so excited.

Seriously, do you think this adds to the discussion? It's like some people revert back to two year old kids (both sides) when they get on here and start posting.
So far as I can tell, calling all conservatives authoritarian and all liberals groomers is still fine.

You just can’t name anyone directly.

OS has figured it out.

I don't know about all that. The Republican won last night's special election in Wisconsin by only a modest margin in a district Trump won by a giant margin.

I saw gas at $3.96/gallon at three different stations this morning, all big-name brands operating near two different interstate exits. That Joe Biden must be a hell of a guy to bring down gas prices like that.

(And, don't forget last week's jobs numbers, either.)

This is based upon the assumption that Biden runs again. I don't think he can beat anyone not named Trump.... mainly because anyone else will be 20-30 years younger than him.

He has spent his entire life getting his way...usually because of his wealth but now because of wealth and power/influence. He probably thinks of himself as untouchable.
So you're saying his is confident and cocky along with not settling for no as an answer?

You need to go back to the feetball board.

That tells me Trump aligns with the GOP mainstream.

Trump's destruction of what was once a great party continues
Most of the damage to the GOP comes from those who can’t stand Trump. As with most things, what lies between your ears is infinitely more important than what is outside. Why people give up on the GOP cuz TRUMP! Is beyond me. Republicans we’re here before Trump and will be hear long after Trump.

Monday was a game changer. I don’t think the significance of that has sunk in.

Highly doubtful. Memories are short and whatever opinions people hold about Trump are just confirmed. 50-55% of the population think he is a criminal. 25% think he's some victim/ hero... and the rest don't really like him but dislike Democrats even more.

Nothing about Monday is gonna change any minds on that.

It’s a mistake to think Monday is only about Trump. Its about federal police power.

Biden won't run for reelection. He knows it, Jill knows it, Kamala Harris knows it and Jaime Harrison knows it. It won't be announced until as late as possible in order for him to limit his time as a lame duck president.

Trump, if he's well enough (he looked god-awful at his recent Saudi-funded golf tournament), will be the Republican nominee.

Dems need to counter his bluster, bombast and bullshit with someone who is much younger, articulate and feisty. Military experience would be a plus.

Harris isn't the answer.

A few things...

1. Your dumb Proud Boys comment notwithstanding, something will happen. The doing something will be when the GOP gets control of at least the House back. The raid will get answered in kind because one side cannot allow the other to do this to them without retribution. McCarthy has already signaled in the House that Garland should buckle the **** up for next year.

2. If this was really about documents, a precedent has been set. Trump should be punished exactly like Hillary Clinton was.
Except the situations aren’t close to similar and you honestly think Merrick Garland is a criminal like Trump?
