I was at a few Purdue basketball games this year and didn't hear it chanted once. It probably was at the iu game, but I wasn't there. But please, tell me when they yell it at the basketball games.

I claim there is no organized chants in football, but have acknowledged that the students do it after kickoffs and alumni wish it would stop. I claim it isn't done in basketball. I'm 100% correct in both statements

I didn't start the banner shit.... I've spent most of my life seeing iu not be better than Purdue. Most people who have lived a third of their life can say the same. I don't see iu as better than Purdue because I've never seen them do anything to show they are.

Bullshit. Guessing at your age, and even during the worst stretch if IU bball in my lifetime (I'm 57), we've had 3 FFs, you've had 0, and only 2 in your entire history. I'd guess we're about even on conference championships, and you're slightly ahead head to head... which matters to no one outside the state. Want another indicator? I live in NC and I probably watched IU on a network 6X this year. PU, once, maybe twice that I can think of. Because the networks know who is of more interest to the country, even now. We got UNC in the B10 ACC challenge. You got FSU. You don't see it because you pick and choose what you "count" and refuse to see it otherwise.

I'm turning 70 this month and the comparison between both programs is well....there isn't one.
Purdue has done more damage to their "national" reputation (not like they really had one anyway) the last 3 years than any headway they've made on IU these last 20-25 years.
I can't help it they gave the best team in the big ten FSU and iu a middle of the road team. Purdue should have gotten someone like Duke or Virginia imo, but Purdue got Duke anyways. When was iu's last final 4?

Mike Davis was 9-2 against Purdue and Sampson was 2-1, so from 2000-2008, IU was 11-3. Crean definitely had some success, especially in 2012, 2013, 2016, but ultimately had a losing record. Archie was atrocious and couldn’t win one. And Woodson is 3-1, so far. Therefore, the oniy time when IU was down to Purdue was some years with Crean and Miller’s whole 4 year tenure. I’ll point out that 3 of the last 5 coaches are 14-4 against Purdue.. and counting, because I expect Woody will keep his winning ways over you guys.

I honestly don't know how a Purdue fan can ask that question with a straight face.
There's been two periods of my life (1953 and counting) where Purdue could say they had significantly better teams than IU; the Lou Watson era and the Archie Miller era. Guessing not many who post on here remember or were even alive during the Lou Watson era. That slap dick BoilerN sure as hell wasn't.

Having lived in various places across the country, most do not see iu as a better, or worse program than Purdue. They see them as programs that are always tough outs.
