Some are arguing that it has been used as a death threat. In fact, that’s what caused Comey to delete it. Whether or not that’s true, I don’t know.

What I’m very sure is true is that Comey didn’t have that in mind when he posted this. He meant it in the way you’re saying: impeach him.

The idea that he would deliberately and knowingly make a death threat to POTUS or anybody else on social media is so preposterous that it could easily pass as satire.

Trump wasn't elected until way after both of those post. He wasn't "47" at that time. No one was. What if Joe or Kamala had won? Would this then be a threat to them?

I feel sorry for you. And the fact that you'll be indignant with that, and say something like "don't, I know exactly what I'm posting and doing."...makes me feel even more sorry for you. It's certainly possible, but it's not the standard meaning. When you 86 a person, 99.99999999% of the time, you mean "kick him out." 86'ing a president is a call for impeachment.
