IU vs. Purdue

Twitter just let me know yall have a game going on as we speak, so I'll quit distracting you.

Everyone gets upset in the tourney. Even the best coaches. That's why it's partially luck.
Yes, but even Mike Davis and Tom Crean can get to a FF: why can't Painter? I guess you can call great coaches with great players consistently reaching the FF and winning championships luck: I call it skill and talent.

Guess we will wait and see. I really like the guys they have committed right now. Purdue is utilizing NIL. They just aren't promising players money that isn't getting paid, which is apparently a big issue in CBB.
Lol remember what happened last time You were touting Purdue’s NIL program? An article came out with proof that Purdue only had $170k in NIL money across all sports.

In year 1. It's getting better. Every basketball player is getting NIL. Their own stuff, just signed another deal.

Lol I know what your NIL looks like on the basketball team. Each player is getting around $100k. Gillis had just eclipsed $100k overall at Thanksgiving time. That’s weaksauce. For some reason your program has chosen to go the socialist route with NIL.

Where you seeing the numbers?

Purdue has been very poor in recent games. It’s funny that they constantly talk about our lack of shooting, yet they are ranked 305th (!) in the country in 3pt% while we are 83rd.

I’m still calling a split.

Agree. There is no way they win in Bloomington.

I’m not seeing them anywhere. I’m from NC and know his family and their friends. At Thanksgiving he had just eclipsed $100k for his NIL career.
Right, and you falsely claimed that you were in the room with his family at the time his recruiting decision was made and that turned out to be an absolutely untrue. Do not pretend that you did not make that claim on GBI. It was widely discussed and proved false there.

And I am sure that Gillis and family are going to spread whatever payments he is receiving all over town for public discussion. Most people prefer to keep their personal business private.

Lol it’s actually hilarious that you guys think that was me. That was one of your Purdue fans.

Nope, 0% chance Purdue makes the tournament that year. Go back to GBI and post about “unhappy” players at IU. I gotta say it’s been fun to see you post with the paying members and consistently get shit on for your takes.
Again, a gross mischaracterization which for you is very typical.

So if it was 0% for Purdue that year as you claim, then what probability would you have given Georgia, because Purdue was in better shape than Georgia? And Georgia was successful. Here's the problem, the probability cannot be less than zero and Purdue's situation was better than Georgia's. And supposedly you studied a technology subject at IU. I believe that as much as the "I know the Gillis family" claim.

The difference between Georgia and Purdue is that Purdue is a bunch of pig fvckers

I have admitted to posting under multiple names that I always immediately identify myself, because your mods are pvssies
When you post under multiple false names, who can ever tell if you identify yourself under all of them? You create a logical impossibility when you do that.

If you were to be banned here as you should have been long ago, you would create a new name too. I honestly don’t GAF if you believe me or not. Jeff Brohm’s comments on Purdue’s NIL situation should be enough for you to know I’m telling the truth.

Jeff Brohm's comments about Purdue's NIL confirm that Mason Gillis is getting $100K? How does that work? Why would Brohm care or even know about what a player on the basketball team was making considering that he was the football coach?

Jeff Brohm’s comments confirm that Purdue is not doing well with NIL. Mason Gillis receiving $100k and Purdue giving the same to each player confirms the same.

In socialist system everyone is poor.

Correction: He said that Louisville's and Purdue's NIL strategies were different. He did not say that Purdue's was poorer. I do not know all of the terms of Purdue's NIL as I do not believe that they are public. I do know that Walters has stated that he reviewed the NIL structure for football and found it competitive.

Purdue has announced a NIL agreement with a real estate firm involving the basketball team. It has been reported that this particular deal regards the players similarly. However, it is not at all clear that this is the only NIL deal for players or that any splits are the same for any others. There is no public information of which I am aware of that supports your claim for anything else.

Lol stop it. Look at the numbers
Purdue is No. 1 in the country in Total Rebounding %, Iu is currently 59th! No. 1 in the Big Ten
by a wide margin if you look at the Big Ten NUMBERS! Hell Zach has out rebounded a few teams in couple games!

True. However, teammates are basically parts of the same family. Creating competition and jealousy within the family isn’t likely the best way to win. Illinois is exhibit A. Those guys hate each other and a lot of it is NIL driven

There is public information. Purdue produced $170k for across the board for their athletes last year. WEAK SAUCE.

Brohm’s comments were very clear. He was clearly implying Louisville is in a much better situation from a NIL perspective. Are you too dumb to understand that?

There is also private information that you aren’t privy too.

WGAF where they compare to IU? The dude said they were a better rebounding team this year than last.

Lol do you think everyone at a company makes the same $$$? No, the top employees make more.

The Illinois players don’t hate each other. They hate their coach.

That report was for last year ending in the fall. The 2021-22 basketball season and spring sports. I also recall Purdue was one of the only BIG
schools to even file a report.

Brohm never said purdues was bad. He said the school that has been paying players for years is better. Big difference.

How is Mason's back?

I know what the report was. It was how each team did in the first full year of NIL. Your program only managed $170k.

Not 100%, but manageable. He wouldn’t have sat out any games if they were big games. Kinda like TJD’s back actually.

Not difficult to understand why, hell, their #1 BB team barely drew flies at their pretend crossraods classic. Just not a lot of PU fans investing in anythin other than IU,
