That doesn't even make sense. You have yet to add anything intelligent to the conversation. Just give up and move on. Why derail a thread
"F****** Rutgers"? Everything changes. Good teams become bad teams. Bad teams become good teams. Rutgers is trending upwards under Pikiell. Indiana is trending downwards under Miller. Nothing inexplicable. And this team is all pure Archie recruits except for Durham. I do believe Durham is the only remaining player that was initially recruited by and originally committed to Crean. Even so, Durham has only ever been coached in college by Archie. This is what an Archie team at IU looks like.
I know I know, Brunk is hurt. If we can beat Iowa on the road without Brunk, we can damn sure beat f*****g Rutgers on our home court without him.

So is Archie done? Are you writing his resume? The Big Ten is an unforgiving league.
Zero heat on Miller’s seat, even among many in the increasingly apathetic fan base. He’ll be at IU at least through next year, regardless of the results. So is Archie done? Are you writing his resume? The Big Ten is an unforgiving league.
Remember that Al IS a Crean player.Oh no.
Archie is very safe here. He’s got at least another 5 seasons. We will be very excited if he can get us to 7th in the league. That would be icing on the cake.
Apathy will be thru the roof. There just isn’t any evidence of progress being made. Will be interesting to see how far the IU administration will let the basketball program fall.Might be after next season. It’s not happening after this one. No chance of it.

I won’t argue that CAM is a bust. But unless we have a strong hire to replace him with, we are better off waiting for that coach to be available and then firing vs firing amd then going to find the new coach. We would just extend the current state of affairs by firing with no repalcmery in our crosshairs at the time of firing. JMO.
I'm not so sure. At 5-5 and a NET of 89, and a 1-4 Q1/Q2 record, that's not really a tournament quality resume yet.So duke has one down year. They will still make the tournament.
It’s not. I agree. But you have to factor in the darling of the ncaa component and no way the NCAA leaves their princess out of the dance.I'm not so sure. At 5-5 and a NET of 89, and a 1-4 Q1/Q2 record, that's not really a tournament quality resume yet.
I wouldn't say "no way." They'll need to turn it on to get a bid. It’s not. I agree. But you have to factor in the darling of the ncaa component and no way the NCAA leaves their princess out of the dance.
When’s last time IU had a player or coach of the year?
Duke’s bubble is far more friendly. If tourney started today, they’d be in.I wouldn't say "no way." They'll need to turn it on to get a bid.
So would we. (And our wins are better overall.)Duke’s bubble is far more friendly. If tourney started today, they’d be in.
I think overall interest in the program is declining, and I think there are fewer passionate fans than there used to be even a decade ago. Agree that this has been ongoing for two plus decades, but it continues unabated at this point.Apathy isn’t increasing, at least not noticeably at this point. It’s been way too long. If you want to bang on the lowered expectations drum, be my guest. But, the time to fight that battle was 15 years ago.
So is Archie done? Are you writing his resume? The Big Ten is an unforgiving league.
Yea, that’s a tough row to hoe. I feel like that’s what we tried doing with CTC.
Eventually recruiting starts to suffer because they know the coach is eventually on his way out. Also, this is Indiana, just about any coach in the nation would come here for the right price.
If Dolson knows CAM ‘ain’t it, better making a move sooner than later.
I see it in my area. Folks who used to complain or be aggravated at the team’s performance don’t even watch anymore. Not only due to results, but our style of play and difficulty scoring don’t make for a lot of excitement.I don’t see a lot of apathy here. IU fans all care.
The wait list for season tickets has been in decline for several years.Scott is in a tough spot. A C19 pass is the likely play here but the risk is recruiting as you say plus a risk of apathy among the younger fans.
I won't be surprised if the waiting list for season tickets is gone or close to it. It will come back once the program stabilizes but the longer he waits the greater the damage.

I haven't heard a number in a couple of years so I don’t know a current figure, but it was declining before Miller was hired.Like you, I don't know the length of the list but I would not be surprised if it has declined. It would be damned near gone if Glass had done what I have called for the last four seasons and that is selling some of the 8K student seats to that that list.
Now they may lose the list and still have student seats empty for all but big games.
I dont know but I think Dayton would rather be called a mid major than have CAM back. When’s last time IU had a player or coach of the year?
Just listened to post game interview with Fish. Archie can do one thing well, completely twist a scenario. He can make a dog turd sound appetizing with his double talk. I truly thinks he believes he has a special team that is going to contend for B1G championship. So disconnected to reality.
He won’t walk away from that buyout.I think it’s possible he could pull a Davis and look for a soft landing. Archie will know he’s a Lame Duck amongst the Fanbase at the end of the season. Does he really want to get booed at every home game?

I don’t recall seeing as much IU shit (clothes and paraphernalia) on clearance racks when I was younger. It wouldn’t surprise me if they just start giving it away.I see it in my area. Folks who used to complain or be aggravated at the team’s performance don’t even watch anymore. Not only due to results, but our style of play and difficulty scoring don’t make for a lot of excitement.
It is what it is at this point.
I bet he's a Notre Dame fan. I hate those ND for football and IU for basketball people.Your title made no sense. Your posts make no sense. However, you somehow think those were intelligent? That makes no sense. What team wearing blue and gold is your team? It’s not the Hoosiers.
That’s his problem. His arrogance. He won’t change what he does for nothing.
Play Zone defense? Nope.
Play extended Man to Man? Nope.
Change the Offense? Nope.
Recruit guys taller than 6”6? Nope.
Recruit Grad Transfers? Nope.
Recruit Juco Transfers? Nope?
Recruit 3 pt specialists? Nope.
He’s a doofus.
He brought in 2 grad transfers in 4 years, including a guy who is currently on the team.
This may be your dumbest post ever ..That’s his problem. His arrogance. He won’t change what he does for nothing.

Naw, probably not, but it's pretty f**king dumb.
