instead of 12 like usual. Because we were short four people, we played 12 hands each game instead of eight. We have a different partner every game, by the way.
During one game, my playing partner and I shut out our opponents 18-0. Even though we were ahead 14-0 on the last hand, I went alone and made it. It wasn't running up the score because the individual winner at the end of seven games is the one with the most points. Unfortunately, another guy had 86 points to my 80 for the night.
Today also was interesting, but I wasn't playing cards. We played 18 holes of golf. My two playing partners and I lost $20.00 each to the winning team, but we still had a great time! It makes winter seem shorter when I can play 18 holes on December 12th!
March 1st can't get here quickly enough for me because I hate winter time.
