It’s indictment time again….

Oh good Lord - Smith has already been overturned unanimously on the bribery charge against the Virginia governor.

You guys act like he's some superstar - he's a political hack, which is why he's given these cases.
I think were this case to go to SCOTUS, there is a chance of even some of Democratic appointees concurring in overturning it. They don’t even cite a real crime. They claim fraud without any victims and cite civil rights statutes intended for Jim Crow.

Seeing ostensibly reasonable people like Murt and Brad tuck tail on this indictment has been disappointing. The death by 1000 cuts is working.

As usual, you're completely full of shit. Smith has no party affiliation and he has prosecuted both Republicans and Democrats.

There will be a disposition in this case before November 2024, and your boy is going DOWN, DANC! Deal with it!

Lol. Where do you come up with this shit? The sentence I've marked in bold is my personal favorite. I don't know what your area of expertise it, but it sure isn't criminal law.

Is that what Shapiro said? How many cases has he tried? How many appeals has he handled? He's grateful, though, that you subscribe (literally) to his publication and promote his brand.

Bad stuff, amoral stuff, stuff you disagree with, does not equal criminality.

That seems to be where you’re getting confused with this indictment.

You’re already talking about the SC overturning the case before it even starts? You are certainly a great legal mind!

I don’t see much chance of this judge or a DC jury offering Trump a chance at a fair trial. There will be appeals and likely SCOTUS.

It’s ironic because the documents case is actually much stronger but the location and judge are much more favorable to Trump.

That’s why Biden/ Garland brought this case. As a back up. No matter. Hopefully a GOP’er wins the WH and pardons the man on any federal convictions.

That’s one. Everyone knows that. I imagine he’s treated this case a bit differently.
No he didn't. He practically took the Jan 6 committee report word for word and stretches legal definitions like a rubber band. There is no new information and he could have done this 2 years ago. Gee, I wonder why he didn't......

Smith is out of control and I'm going to enjoy the shit-show he's brought on, because it's going to backfire in your face.

Hey, I'm about to get my drunk on. And we all know that when that happens, I gain pure clarity, like no one ever, on everything! Lets get ready to RUUUMBLE . :) (see, the clarity is already starting).

Fight on brother. I’m leaving for the Cubs game in a bit, but keep the embers burning til tomorrow.

If you want to come over to a man’s team, I’m scouting players. McM lacks conviction. Currently I have IUHickory and Zeke, you would make a good addition.

I literally just had clarity overload and I ain't even got rev'ed up yet.

I pray that they have body armor with Cubs logo's...... Oh hell, who am I kidding. Chicago is why body armor was invented, of course it comes in Cubs colors ! Rock on bro, and keep your head down. Everybody prays in a foxhole.

It’s hilarious watching the law firm of DANC&Giggity theorize on the legal ins and outs of this case. Their opinions hold even more water given they haven’t read the indictment.

I like your idea that these statutes are intended for someone else.

I've always thought that speeding statutes were intended for someone else besides me.

And then, after all that repeated, neverending effort, they claim they are not Trump supporters.

Sure thing. Again, criminals don’t get to choose when their trial is. Hate to break it to you, but people have coooerated with Jack Smith who did not testify for J 6 committee. Mike Pence for example and oops he took notes. Likely Mark Meadows and others . Surely you know that?

Joe was rich enough already. Hunter has plenty of issues and it doesn’t surprise me a bit he profited off his Dad’s name. Trump used his office to get both him and his family even richer , and definitely made a deal with a Saudi devil to do so. Same difference imo.
How did Joe get rich as a 50 year politician? His government salaries weren’t enough to become rich.

Of course you don't, because the pro-Trump media has already started that baseless drumbeat.
Baseless how? The location in which you bring an indictment matters.

Would Rittenhouse have been cleared if that case was tried in DC? Did you agree with the Rittenhouse verdict?

Try to understand the nuances of the real world. You’re behaving like a child.

Health care reform? Infrastructure? A big, beautiful wall? Drain the swamp? Lock up Hillary?

Now sure, he built a fraction of an ineffective wall. He did cut taxes, but for whom? He did insert 3 conservative SC justices, but that was not an opportunity he created.
And I'll even give him the benefit of the doubt that Covid absolutely destroyed his effectiveness as leader...with one caveat. That disease gave him all kinds of opportunity to grow into a transformational leader that could have made us a stronger and more unified country. Instead, he made mistake after mistake, some that conservatives point out (Fauci, anyone?), and finally, when he realized he didn't have the will, he took the cowardly and lazy way out and sowed division.
Disagree with his policies? Cool. Point out his amazing character flaws and net negative effect on American politics? I agree. (Although I think “the Resistance “ and the press were also guilty).

But I don’t think you can claim he had no intention of following through with what he ran on. He did. As much as any other politician over the recent past. If you believe abortion is murder of little babies, for example, how do you not think Trump is one of the greatest Presidents in US history?

Big Macs? 😄

Jesus Christ...the correct snarky comparison would have been "Russian hookers", "pornstars", or "beauty pageant contestants".

Just let Bulk handle this type of stuff.

Hilarious. Once again, you have no idea what you're talking about. But I see you've received your talking points from the Gateway Pundit, and Ben and the boys, and run with them. Too funny, danc.

This is a speaking indictment. Smith included much more detail than he needed to because he wanted a powerful indictment to do the talking while he's constrained from actually talking, but do you honestly believe he's tipped his entire hand? Too funny, danc.

No, he couldn't have done it two years ago. He was appointed less than nine months ago. Dozens of witnesses have been interviewed and have testified before the grand jury. Thousands of pages of documents have been perused. The fact that he has proceeded with this kind of alacrity is remarkable.

I am eager, though, to learn how he has "stretched legal definitions like a rubber band," counsel. Do tell! And links are encouraged!

Smith is in complete control, and the only shitshow that will happen is when Trump takes a dump in his Depends after being convicted of a felony.

Trumps SCOTUS appointees may very well take this country back from the brink. He deserves credit for that in the very least.

And the character he showed in standing by Kavanaugh, was commendable. Few presidents would have done as much. Even though I dislike Kavanaugh as a justice.

It IS murder of little babies, and I'd bet Trump paid for several over the years.

The fact he would outlaw the right of shitlibs to voluntarily kill their unborn children is like Tom Sawyer painting the fence himself...stupidity.

...That’s why Biden/ Garland brought this case. As a back up. No matter.
There is no coordination. There is no backup or fallback. What we have is a criminal who perpetrated crimes all over the place, and grand juries all over the place are seeing evidence to charge him. The American Way. Refreshing. No one above the law. Not on the basis of money, or power, or fame, or influence.

Hmmmm.

Do you believe an egg fertilized on the first day is the same as a 9 month old fetus? I think there are levels on intellectual life.

Like I don’t mind stepping on an ant, I don’t mind a chick taking the morning after pill.

Yes. Anyone that would get an abortion after 1 month is a barbarian.

I don’t believe that. I absolutely believe this was coordinated. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t the right thing to do
