We know Wiscy is good. How did Michigan play them so tough? Did the Wolverines improve that much? Are they going to be a team to contend with when they play IU? Did Wiscy have a bad game? What does that close game mean?

Let's worry about OSU, PUkes, Rutgers and Wisky first.

Geezue, who gives a flying F about Michigan right now.

Every team is a threat to IU.

There will be no gimmies this season. Good grief, Rutgers beat Wisconsin. One game at a time and if there are any games the players/coaches overlook, it will be an L.

Well said! This team is capable of beating anyone in the B1G but it is also capable of losing to anyone on the schedule. We really need a big win on the road to bolster our dance resume.

IU now has a little success.....how will they respond against O$U?*

Is Michigan now a threat to IU? Yes, in Football.

Jim Harbaugh was a great hire for Michigan.

it means we're in conference in the B10. No easy road games. Is this

your first season watching B10 ball? It also means that WI won on the road without their starting PG (3 or 4 yr starter?). Almost every team is a threat to IU on the road.

I don't think Wisconsin is a great team.

Good yes, great no. They have yet to play OSU, IU, Maryland or MSU and one of their games was a loss to Rutgers.

As far as Michigan, yesterday may have been one of those 'rally 'round the flag' games that teams have when they lose a player. Back in '86, Minnesota was hit with a giant scandal and lost most of their starters mid season.

The first team to play them after it blew up was IU. Minny went out with a bunch of reserves and walk ons (they almost forfeited the game instead) and almost beat IU's *ss.

(The game is chronicled in Season on the Brink if anyone's interested)

Shortly though, the losses began to be felt by Minny and I think we beat them in the return match by 40. Michigan will feel the loss of their best player going forward. There's no way around it.
