If Woody stays for next season, I would hope Dolson lays out some very specific expectations for the 2024/2025 which if not met could lead to termination. This might cause Woody to feel he’s being micromanaged and opt to resign, which would be ok, but it would clarify things with Woody. Expectations to include:
* top 3 finish in regular B10 season
* semi finals or better in BTT
* 7 seed in NCAA or better
* make sweet 16 in NCAAs
* minimum 70% free throw
* upper half of B10 in 3 point shot made and 3 point %
* upper half of B10 in fewest turnovers
* no off court incidents by staff or players
What else would you add or change from this list?
If Woody worked for a Fortune 1000 business as a CEO, which is what he is to IU hoops, this is what would happen.
