How much is Obama spending?

It's just too much work

Virtually all of your (predictably) unsourced claims are false or misleading. I and a some others have tried again and again to address them with hard data, as SSB has pointlessly done here, all to no avail.

You guys have learned nothing from being wrong about more or less everything and have instead concocted an alternate history of events way too recent for any rational person to accomplish it. What a waste of space.

No he's not

People tend to assume he's just posting as a partisan mouthpiece, but the evidence suggests that's way too charitable.

Here's the other thing about this.

Democrats try very hard to debunk the idea that Democrats are big spenders and use the statistics in a way to support this notion (like assigning FY09 spending entirely to President Bush rather than acknowledging the Democrats controlled Congress or that most spending bills were signed after President Obama took office) and try to use that as a "Democrats are fiscally responsible" meme. At the same time the same Democrats will say we should be spending a whole lot more money which of course would result in far larger deficits and debt and destroy the fiscally responsible meme - at least in the short-term (and probably the long-term because it wouldn't be the fiscal stimulus they believe it would be). These Democrats want it both ways.

It is interesting

to look at the statistics as far as federal spending. The federal outlays hit 1 trillion for the 1st time in 1987 and are predicted to hit 4 trillion in 2016. I seriously doubt there are many on the cooler whose wages have went up 4 fold in those years.
